Hellcat is above the srt8

Scat pack comes with 6.4 which is in the srt 8
It also comes with a shaker trim

Srt8 is my goal then.
I plan on ordering new, as in picking color and options,not hoping to get lucky on what the dealer has sitting around,but I am such very patient,will walk away and look again next month elsewhere.
Last car was a used Camaro,bought it while still under warranty...best chapter of my life. Really enjoyed it.
However...
I figure this may be the only time I can order a new car before my life catches up to me.

The SRT has more than 6.4L, if you just want the V8 the RT scat pack has that, with the shaker option available. No shaker on the SRT, it has an aluminum hood with a scoop. Also comes with better suspension, interior options, etc. Not just an engine.

Same price minus 100 hp

R/T starts with the 5.7 Hemi. You don't want that if you can afford the 6.4 392. R/T Scat Pack is the 6.4

Dodge is really weird with the special colors. They bring some back certain years. Take them away on others. I'd go to a dealer and talk about the colors.

Nobody cares that it's called "scat pack". It has the coolest symbol and engine.

Also want the heated/ac in the seats. (I live in Florida air conditioning on the ass is the greatest luxury I can think of)
Some options seem to delete that.
As far as body colors,you are right. A few months ago lime green existed,right now it doesn't.
I got time to find one if I have to.
Just don't want to stumble into a dealership with too many questions.

Hellcat is the next step from the srt8. I'd like one but lets be honest, nobody needs that or anything close to that and we'd probably kill ourselves in it. With the srt8 you'll beat anyone in a classic straight line stoplight race except a Hellcat. I've been shopping for a challenger in what little spare time I have for a few months now and I think whatever model you choose you should get a 2015. IMO big improvements over the 14 model, and a better value than the 16 or 17 models which are virtually identical to the 15. Don't get a v6 challenger, I wish they didn't exist. Don't get a Hellcat, it's too much. Scat pack and srt8 are best challenger
