>FNAF 1 - A night guard works at a Chuck E. Cheese knockoff where the animatronics come to life at night at and become murderous. Five children were murdered there long ago.
>FNAF SL - Billionaire and serial child murderer William Afton designs robots to kill children for no reason in his high-tech laboratory built for pizza robots. He forgets to program one of his child killing robots not to kill his daughter, and for some reason this makes him upset despite being a serial child murderer. William and his son Mike who is also the guard from the first game are both the Purple Guy, who kills children manually at Freddy Fazbear's. One of them gets their internal organs hollowed out and used as a skinsuit by a robotic hivemind but somehow still survives, while the other is skewered alive inside a mascot costume that can eviscerate its wearer if they make a wrong move. There are five different locations, each with a plethora of events. There are actually two bites, one of which was never mentioned before, where a child gets bitten by Fredbear, a prototype Freddy, at a birthday party. The killer animatronics are possessed by the ghosts of the murderered victims of Afton, and they are freed and forgiven at the conclusion of 3 despite being murderers. The robotic hivemind that hollowed out one of the Purple Guys and wore them as a skinsuit is also possessed by the ghost of William's daughter.
It has, truly, been a roundabout path
Jack Baker
Man if people are hesitant about letting machines have intelligent I'm sure they'd just be psyched for genetic hybrid abominations.
I only saw it for the first time two years ago (on Christmas Eve in fact, probably watch it again) but it's insane how much it's influenced me.

genetic beings just cant do the singularity thing like machines can though also, holy shit that pic probably made me a furry on the spot

>letting machines have intelligent Maybe one day they'll let Crisis have intelligent and ability spell.
There's also the fact the original 80s bots gained their sentience through *unknown supernatural occurrence* and their intelligence / personality / SOUL w/e isn't artificial or programmed in any way and that almost every bot in 2087 is based off of TC's mind.

Scott said "you guys", not "MatPat", but yeah. He said he didn't think he could hide anything from us since we figured out almost everything in FNAF 1, 2, and 3, which was why he was so surprised that we hadn't figured out 4.

That was when everything changed, and Mike could no longer stand idly by and watch as Enerd's reign as Alligator King went unpunished. Knowing he could never hope to defeat his former sister turned possessor turned megalomaniacal tyrant, Mike endeavored to do the unthinkable, and sought to attain a power which no living being could posses. After surviving the five grueling trials and earning the respect of the restless undead, Mike willingly cast himself among their ranks; donning the Sprinsuit of power and allowing it to destroy him. Now, after thirty years of waiting; Mike has returned to face that which nearly destroyed him so long ago. Baptized in fire and wielding a power from beyond the veil of life itself, Mike Schmidt sets out defeat his sister and her alligator legions once and for all.
Andrew Reed
FNAF 1, FNAF 2, FNAF 3. Long ago, the three FNAF games existed in harmony. Then, everything changed when Scott's hack writing attacked. Only the autists, masters of coherent plotlines about haunted animatronics, could stop him. But when the lore needed them most, they vanished. One year passed and we found /5N@F/, a bunch of autistic faggots who make stories and comics. And although their porn skills are great, they still have a lot to learn before they can make sense of this clusterfuck. But I believe that /5N@F/ can save the lore.

That may be true, but Jojo is a minor blip on the radar compared to the all-consuming mass of cancer that was MLP. They're not even comparable, it's like the difference between a slight fever and terminal illness.
Christian Carter
MLP was just an anamoly, one of the first instances of autistic internet obsession seeping into mainstream consciousness. Now it's how almost everything popular operates.
Brody Butler
I agree, it was a definite turning point in how "popular things" operated. Every big thing that's followed, Minecraft, E-celeb shit, FNAF, Undertale, it all attracts the same awfulness.
Maybe it's just a byproduct of the internet as a whole, who knows.

His only saving grace for now is that he technically doesn't have lewds of himself in the 2087 setting. Which is ironic actually.

Retarded, I have no idea how they're going to make a movie out of this drivel. Reddit is still mindlessly eating it up though so I guess Scott's money train hasn't run out of steam yet.

It's confusing as all hell, it ruined Springtrap, and frankly while alot of people are going to just go and call it shit and awful, I will be the ugly duckling and say that while it's a mess now. I hope Scott has SOMETHING to make this work, some sorta twist or added story element to make this shit work. I mean how worse can it get from here?
I just hope the obvious next game to come out in about 1-2 months from now has a good enough of a conclusion to make the BS the Final Cutscene did passable, not good, but passable

Samuel Ramirez
Mike is Springtrap and Will is the walking skin. Why does everyone keep getting them confused?
Sebastian Martin
I interpreted it as Michael is the protagonist of SL, have all the events of SL & custom night cinematic occur to him as the events of FNAF 1-4's purple guy are occurring parallel To SL, then Michael is the protagonist of FNAF 3 and meets Afton/Springtrap, which is why Springtrap doesn't do the jumpscare to the player but rather just looks closely
Evan Ward
To elaborate, when I say fnaf 1-4 occur parallel, when it comes to fnaf 3, it's the cutscenes that are occurring parallel, not fazbears' fright
Colton Carter
The cutscene makes it sound like Mike got scooped and freed Baby, while he goes on about how surprised he is that he's alive. And for a guy who got his innards removed he sure has a lot of blood and guts.
Christian Lewis
In the final cutscene of SL, you can see Springtrap appear for a second near the end.
Cameron Peterson
Beamz should be protected
Parker Reyes
Small theory: if we consider Michael to be the protagonist of SL and becoming the purple guy it doesn't make sense for him to walk around people in such a form, especially when there is not much inside him to walk with. If you look at how Ennard look when it comes out of him, it's a bunch of metallic wires with eyes. However, Ennard has a skeleton, and it can be assumed to be inside Michael. My theory is that Purple Guy kept a good part of Ennard inside, haunting his part of the entity. The reason why he would kill can be assumed to be as a way to maintain his body in a presentable state, replacing tissues with others.
Leo Brooks
Beamz is a meamz
Wyatt Stewart
Yes, which to me makes it seem like "I'm going to find you" and that last image of the last cutscene means that he will find him at Fazbears fright, Springtrap being William

But that doesn't make sense. Mike is the one talking, and it's clear that he is springtrap. Why else would he say that he was mistaken for William? The ghost kids thought Mike was Will and got him springtrapped. There's no other way to interpret it.

He may have meant that the animatronics in SL confused him for William. He also says that they "didn't recognize him" which matches up with Baby's initial line.

Thank you for elaborating on my position, . But yeah don't say that there isn't any other way to interpret it when obviously I'm interpreting it another way with just as valid theory.
People have said that the mechanical voice heard in that cutscene is evidence that Michael is Springtrap but that could be easily explained that Michael's scooped and empty body still has many parts of Ennard which allows him to move and have a mechanical voice while the end of the cutscene just shows his goal, his final destination, his destiny to find his father who is now Springtrap
Jacob Foster
It's amazing just how aware Scott is of his own fanbase. Has there ever been a developer this in touch?
Asher Williams
It's not the act that disgusts me, it's the fact that it looks like she's stained a perfectly good set of linens.
Logan Carter
Scott has the advantage that he is a single person who develops a game, who listens and sees many things, and can choose what to add or don't add. There are many other developers who do similar things (blizzard with Overwatch and gremlin D.Va emote) but I'm sure there are devs who listen, want to add a thing but can't because scheduling and priorities
Brody Barnes
Most big games are solely dictated by the publisher, and they sure as shit doesn't listen to fanbases let alone care about the final product. They're happy so long as the product makes them money.
Parker Collins
Not really.
Yes. In almost every case. Almost certainly wouldn't. I guess. It isn't, but they are some pretty lewd smoochers. I hardly think he was hardly a model example. But everything he did - he did for God so it was physically impossible to be lewd. Absolutely. Yes. Aren't they just. The boople-est.
Adulterous? Funny considering the only person I've drawn him with in 2087 (in non-canon pictures*) is Cinnablon. See above. N-No. Don't know what you've seen to suggest that. user is simply irresistible, he can't be blamed. >Not wanting to just be a big ole piece of trash whore He's made sure he hand and hook have never come in contact with water in over a century. Probably smells like car fumes Big warm welcoming orange suns It's a little thing called ~style~ It's a part of who he is, reminds me of the old days. Doubles as easy bottle-opener. For easy peeling of course.
*75% of all 2087 pictures are arguably non-canon.
Jackson Diaz
Baby also seems to mistake Mike for his father in the private room ending. The robots' hostility and apparent fear, going by how Baby has to convince Ballora that "he's here to help" and isn't going to hurt her would also indicate this. If he had said something like "They cornered me, I had no choice" it'd be much clearer, but as of now the dialogue can go for scooping or Springtrapping
Additionally, Springtrap hasn't been able to talk in the series. He's been able to eke out hisses and moans but not to speak full on sentences. The inclusion of voice acting is very relevant to Sister Location's story, as these Afton-built robots are the first to be actually talking to you directly. Mike's sudden voice distortion probably means that he has some robotic parts in him, likely whatever kept him from dying when he got scooped. Just like how Ballora was still around when she got scooped. The game seems to be boiling towards a confrontation between the two Aftons.
Andrew Powell

Gee, I sure hope Foxy's idyllic American life isn't ruined by a courier delivering an otherwise innocuous package of the robotic persuasion. That would be a real kick in the head.
