Why people wont accept the fact that smaller engines that have better forced induction etc. are simply superior to big displacement V8? Ford GT has a tiny engine and beats all the supercars with even bigger engines like V12. There is literally nothing wrong with V6.
who knows, maybe in 6 years Ford GT is going to have V4 engine and STILL beat the shit out of competitors.
>Ford GT has a tiny engine and beats all the supercars with even bigger engines like V12.
But it isn't out yet and it will lose to the Laferrari 918 and P1 unless they plan on boosting it to 900 HP which they aren't going to do they are outgunned. >alphonse thread acknowledged

>There is literally nothing wrong with V6. except that they can vibrate so hard as to start backing bolts and screws out of the engine bay. face it nigga, the V8 will reign supreme.

Somebody get the Alphonse bingo sheet. I'm putting money on BINGO within three hours.
because a 350ci SBC fits into any car in existance and is more simple and fun to work on.

there are more uses for an engine than making a car go fast around a track
Big V8's deliver great power and torque with minimal headaches (generally more reliable, lower strung, power more immediate, can take regular fuel etc)
so it really depends on the application of the engine and what the car is going to be used for.

Why would you reply to an Alphonse thread?

>lower strong Not by much. At least in supercar applications.
