Fallout 4 males >>> all other Fallout males

Still dumb to me that Maxson is supposed to only be 20 years old. I mean, I know some incredibly masculine teenagers and young-twenty year olds, and the world of Fallout would certainly make someone like him super masculine, but it just bothers me he's not older.

Is there a mod that will allow you to do those special unarmed moves in first person in FO4?

I know you can do trips, pushes, tackles and counters in third person using the power attack. But for some sad reason, you weren't able to perform those cool moves in first person.

Also, if anyone is interested, someone managed to fix the Lever Action Rifle reload animation:

Nervous Travis >> Confident Travis

Its now becoming clear why this general hates waifus.

I am finally getting over my disappointment for the factions in 4 and on my last play through and it's the railroad. Someone tell me what my build will be focused on.

>tfw he becomes super lame after becoming more confident

Waifus are just unimaginative shitposting.

Thinking about it, the lore states that Danse is an escaped synth, but given that his memories go back to when he was a child, included having a childhood friend who enlisted into the Brotherhood with him, and was responsible for killing his childhood friend after they were sent to search for said friend, where could he have been inserted to make sense? He can't simply be in the Brotherhood of Steel, so he must have been an escaped synth before becoming an initiate. He became an initiate with another person, and I assume others in the BoS would corroborate the existence of Cutler, the friend. Does this confirm the implication that synths can age, despite voiced lines saying otherwise? The only other possibility is that Danse assumed the life of a preexisting human Danse, but since he's a runaway synth, I assumed that to not be the case.

>musclefags shit up last thread
>actual fags shit up this one

Automatic weapons and explosives, mobility and of course stealth when needed. You are a heavy after all; I'd also suggest big guns if most weren't shit.

Only problem is that is the same build I used for my bos play through minus the power armor. In the builds defense it is the most enjoyable way to play fo4.

The Railroad are sort of implied to be a mix of operatives who utilize stealth and secrecy (Deliverer, spies like Deacon, etc.) and agents who use force and heavy combat (Glory, the heavily armored plating of the combat uniform, etc.). So, really, you could go either way, though I would for certain suggest the use of the Railway Rifle (with mods to make it not total shit).

True but only because FO3 and NV people looked like potatoes.

That said, Danse > All

I think synths can age, there's hints of it in Far Harbor with Avery.

Only one scientist says synth Shaun can't age, maybe she was wrong. Or maybe they just assume synths can't age, like they assume they don't have free will.

I think it would have been documented somewhere if that was the case, but maybe most synths don't live that long / we're already adults at "birth" and no one noticed them actually aging.

Doing the main Nuka World quests and why the fuck do I need to go back and forth to talk to Shank every five minutes? Especially on survival. Can't he just tell me everything I need to know the first time I talk to him?

Artificial playtime

fucking kek

Wtf I love her now.

Post feet

to bad its not scaleable, useless if you just so happened to mod the long barrel to have 8 rounds, and made .44 mag receivers that have 11 rounds

are her tits naturally that big

Any good perk mods?

And I said good, so no PIPBOI.

How do I make a pipboy version of an armor, one that removes/changes the appropriate part of the left arm?

are you hyped for the frontier fan-dlc?

some of the recent trailers

youtube.com/watch?v=5nenXX9wQRY

youtube.com/watch?v=BFaBSRfjLh8

I don't recall Danse saying the friend he kill was someone he knew form his childhood, only that he met him sometime when he went to Rivet City.

He was probably an adult when he met the guy he killed.

Frontier looks like garbage.

It looks really obvious it suffers from feature creep, and is likely going ot be shit for it

>Legion in Seattle area
>All those vertbirids the NCR doesn't have
>Obvious STALKER and Metro ripoff sections
>That ugly ass space station
>NCR using heavy artillery during the battle of Helios One despite the fact the building would have been demolished in that situation
>That try hard "we want to be MGSV" music
>Shit for advanced then either Big Mt. or The Institute somehow
What exactly about this is supposed to look good?

It looks like a bunch of autists threw in every shitty mod they could find into one larger mod.

Is there anyway to enable the jet effect infinitely on pc.

Why would you want that?

I guess you could just edit Jet's duration to obscene numbers.

Anyone have an idea which value of a weapon in FO4Edit makes it a target for a perk?

For example I downloaded a pistol from Nexus and I want it to be affected by the Commando perk. Which value do I change on FO4Edit?

I would assume the Flags > Automatic - Automatic would have done just that.

Might want to look at Commando to get a better idea.

Is this the condition?

Is there a "Keyword" section on the weapon in question? The "HasKeyword" function seems to imply there would be a "Keyword" section, and I vaguely remember something similar being present at least in New Vegas.

Maybe also look at a vanilla weapon that is affected by Commando to see if it has that as well.

What causes over-armor to become "thicker" when equipping under-armor? There's an armor that's already thick enough to not clip but it becomes fucking huge when I wear my vault suit.

Yeah KeywordAutomatic is the keyword that makes Commando affect it but the weapon questions does not have this question because I guess you have to mod it for to become automatic.

kk thanks for the help

Did you Bodyslide any of these armors?

I had a weird problem with editing stuff where it would conform to my preset when the reference body was set to zero, and would double in size when I applied my preset to the reference body. Maybe your Vault Suit bodyslide is messed up, effectively doubling your sliders when your outer armor is worn over it.

re-requesting link for scar-l like in the photobucket

please

Sorry, I meant to say Outfit Studio. Did you edit any of these armors/outfits in Outfit Studio to fit your Bodyslide preset?

yeah cuz all the other shitposting is so imaginitive and creative.
every single post is gold.

kek

Some of them, yeah, but it also happens on unedited ones as well.

Some armors just do that. I know that military fatigues make combat armor inflate like a balloon animal. But with BoS underarmor it gets smaller. I have no idea how Bethesda managed to pull it off, and I work with meshes almost exclusively.

Jesus Christ that's horrifying. Guess I'll just make the mesh smaller than it should be so it expands to fit better. Thanks.

Planning a fo4 playthrough to rp as Mcree, are there any mods that would help?

Playing New Vegas instead

Go to the Armor Addon record of an underarmor that does this in FO4Edit and delete everything under Bone Data (don't know if the CK lets you edit this). Now armor pieces won't scale at all when worn over it, like the vault suit.

But I've already done NV to death.

NV is shit anyways

Interesting

Didn't know about that. Yeah, I don't even see that in the CK anywhere.

Huh, I thought I was crazy thinking shit looked massive on Military Fatigues, which I wore almost exclusively for a while.

But that looks cool.

Are there anymore updates to fo4?

Also how are revolvers in fo4? On my only playthrough on vanilla, I went stealth melee so I didn't get to use any guns at all.

two

the .45 pipe revolver and the .44 magnum

I thought there weren't anymore dlc though.

Also I thought some of the unique revolvers like keloggs crispies looked useful.

He meant two revolvers - there won't be any more content added to Fallout 4, and likely not too many patches, either.

that trailer gave me cancer
>guy with LMG trying to hip fire at the soldiers and not hitting shit at 1:07
quality stuff

There's another revolver added in the NW dlc.
Barring a few outliers, "unique" weapons are just guaranteed legendaries. Though that still can be useful.

youtube.com/watch?v=xzpndHtdl9A

When would the game be fully patched?

I was kinda hesitant to mod before due to the script extender only working with the current version, was afraid it might cause problems with mods so I thought I'd wait for the game to be fully patched.

Looks unironically awful. Should've used a decent engine and not one that makes everything look so damned janky.

I'd also like to know how you go from fighting legion to shooting aliens on the moon and spaceship nonsense.

>When would the game be fully patched?

When Bethesda stops releasing patches.

>Bethesda releasing patches
Good one.

Can you keep your bitches on a leash please /fog/? No wonder the classic and new camps will never see eye to eye.

>Links to post that was never made
Okay

fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_4_patches

>When would the game be fully patched?
There will be a large patch for the VR, how much they will fix and break is anyones guess but they will have to constantly keep that patched and functional for a while after launch

Besides the limited variety, I think in vanilla, the damage of the .44 is pretty decent. You can get some good damage overhauls and/or mods for new guns, but .44 caliber in general is hard to find and is overall very scarce. Like someone else said, Nuka World added an even stronger .44 handgun called the Western Revolver, while Far Harbour added the Legendary effect Deadeye, which slows down time while aiming. I'm running mods, so I'm using a Deadeye Detective Special, but a Deadeye Western Revolver would probably be top class.

Just turn the game speed down with SGTM.

Are there any good fallout 4 quest mods yet? That one about the radio seems well liked but I don't trust nexus endorsements

>tfw someguy hasn't done anything for Fo4 yet

Trainwiz has one or two out. Try them.

Water displacement, refraction, refelection, depth fog etc disabled.
AA/AF disabled.
Even got rid of ENB for a bit and this is still happening. Corrupt textures?
Gonna keep troubleshooting but figured I'd shamelessly ask for help on Veeky Forums as well.

What are some good night vision mods or flashlight mods for NV?

Im messing around with some lighting mods but I cant see shit, even when I'm indoors.

Is this ms paint

Yes. Fixed it by switching back to my anniversary d3d9. I use a pre anniversary d3d9 for my 3D weeb porn games.

...

>TFW that hack hasn't done shit for Fallout 4

I hope the next time we see the Legion Mormomism has spread through it like a wildfire. Then the current leader is like a post apocalyptic Constantine

Given that all the Mormons besides Daniel, Joshua, and like 10-15 others are dead, and in northern Utah, while the Legion is in Arizona and New Mexico..... not gonna happen.

Also
>Implying the Legion will survive post-NV as anything but broken remnants that can't do shit.

Looks decent. I'm not really a fan of quest mods at all, but there's a bunch I want to harvest for the Mojave

I'll definitely play it through

I'm just glad it's a New Vegas mod and not F4

I bet that's what the Romans thought. Also converting pagan fucking shits is easy

Neither Caesar nor his generals would allow it.

fallout.gamepedia.com/Caesar's_Legion#cite_note-BCKD1-1

>"Edward Sallow created Caesar's Legion as an imitation of the Roman Legion, but without any of the Roman society that supported the Roman Legion. I've written this before, but there are no optimates, no populares, no plebes, no equestrians, no patricians, no senate, no Rome. There's no right to private property (within the Legion itself). There's no civil law. There aren't even the ceremonial trappings of Roman society. Legates don't receive triumphs following a victory. No one in the Legion retires to a villa in Sedona.

>It's essentially a Roman legion with only the very top commander having any connection to the "source" culture, the rest being indoctrinated conscripts from cultures that were honestly less well-developed than anything in Gaul. Gauls are pretty sophisticated compared to the 80+ tribes. Gauls could read the Latin or Greek alphabets (Gallic language, obviously), had extensive permanent settlements, roads, calendars, mines, and a whole load of poo poo that groups like the Blackfoots never had.
What Caesar gave to those tribes was order, discipline, an end to internecine tribal violence (eventually), common language, and a common culture that was not rooted in any of their parent cultures. The price was extreme brutality, an enormous loss of life and individual culture, the complete dissolution of anything resembling a traditional family, and the indoctrination of fascist values.

>Caesar's Legion isn't the Roman Empire or the Roman Republic. It isn't even the Roman Legion. It's a slave army with trappings of foreign-conscripted Roman legionaries during the late empire. All military, no civilian, and with none of the supporting civilian culture."

That's what the Romans thought, m8

It's nearly 300 years in the future, religion has died out, funDIE.

It's never too late to change that, since that's lame as fuck. I liked that there was a post-war country that wasn't just neo-America like the NCR and probably the Commonwealth

>It's never too late to change that,
Sawyer would never let it change since Avellone left leaving JS as basically the only Fallout writer left there.

And The Legion is JS's pet project

>he thinks Bethesda gives a flying fuck about Sawyer's lore

>He thinks Bethesda gives a shit about the west coast, or anything that goes on there

They're running out of east coast cities worth having a game in. Seattle is probably next. I know a lot of people say New Orleans for some reason, but that place is already a wasteland. Plus it would probably be under water

Cain, Avellone and Sawyer are the only Fallout input I care about, though

It's pretty ez to just ignore Beth's "contributions" to the franchise

>They're running out of east coast cities worth having a game in.
Philly, NYC, Toronto, Miami(depending on how you define the east coast)

After that they would probably move to the Midwest/South with places like Chicago, New Orleans, and one of the Texas cities.

They could go out to like Fallout 12 by the time they run out of cities in the rest of the U.S. that they would need to go to the West Coast

>It's pretty easy to ignore the company that has the final say on the lore

I mean, you could just pretend it isn't happening, like a child

But their lore is awful. Go gobble shit elsewhere, shit eater

If a game is set in Seattle it probably wouldn't even have the NCR, let alone The Legion.

At most we might get some Great Khans if they make the Great Khan Empire of the North West canon
