There is no real way to RNG it out anymore. You'd have to buy shitloads of Famitsu copies to get Necky triggers and then somehow win the lottery and get the thing to drop to you. I've done probably around 90% of the Necky EQs and have never seen one drop to anyone period, the chances you get one with the couple triggers you could reasonably get from magazines are ridiculous at best.

Is there like a list of materials that are worth keeping anywhere? I have so much shit but nowhere near enough inventory space.
Especially now that this Christmas EQ is fodder heaven I really need to clean up.

if you dont plan on making food and stuff keep all the high raruty (red star) ones for ring grinding/do/weekly quests and throw the rest away

look up what's required by the rings you want. the old guy in the cafe has quests that give meseta for trading in rare gathering shit once a week if you care about that. if you don't care about orbit weapons and austere, you can ignore all other crystals and materials.

You should really focus on tossing out the worthless the unstackable stuff (i.e. gear and costumes) first. All those other materials take up space but they at least can stack up to 999. I'm betting most of the gear you're hoarding probably isn't worth keeping around.

The only gear I have is what I use and affix fodder (only 7s+ for weapons and 5s+ for units).

The affix fodder at least has decent affixes on them and not just high #, correct?

Of course, either 1 rare affix (like Doom Break) or multiple more common but still useful ones.
It's mainly quest items and gathering shit that's shitting up my storage. I'm looking through all the different COs and throwing away everything that isn't really worth doing on cooldown right now. Dunno what to do with all my fish and mushrooms though, I might just cook everything I can

Purified is probably the wrong word to use, after what happened in the beginning, the strong connection made to both you and Hitsugi effectively suppressed the Darker element, the true "Dark Falz" part. Think of how "Elder" was twisted with the force of Gettemhart's personality and contrast it with the sort of blank/animallike instinctual quality that DF Apprentice has without a true "vessel" driving it.
