Why can sellers not be bothered with sending you the VIN?

Why can sellers not be bothered with sending you the VIN?

Literally takes 5 mins to take a picture of the title and can turn into a sale, I don't get it. It's like they refuse to do it because I'm asking for too much info.

Pic unrelated

I guess they know you're going to run a CarFucks on it.

Personally I'd have no problem with it at all. If the car has been in wreck, I'm more than happy to show you the repair receipts. But then again I sell my cars to CarMax because I hate dealing with idiots and lowballers.

Did frosty take this pic.... is this the return of the iceman himself?

Because with the vin you can find out who it's registered too and where the car is located. Same with the plate. People cover that shig in pictures so you don't steal their car.

On to your next dumb question.

And you can make a key from the vin. Location of car and a key sounds like a dangerous combo.

Mind telling me what free resources there are that allow you to do that? Because I never came across that info

Mind showing me where he mentioned anything about it being free?

>go to dealership
>look at VIN through windshields
>get keys made
>now have location of car and a key
>infinite free cars and master car thief status

Mind telling what the paid resources are then?

dealerships have $20k camera system and buissness insurance and possibly lojack

I had a retarded family member look me in the face and tell me something along the same lines as your post, but she actually believed it to be true.

>Lost key to her car
>Asked me if I knew anyone with same make/model
>"Why?" I ask
>"I need to borrow their key because I lost mine"
>"Their key would work in my car until I can get my own set made."

Now I know why my uncle hides in the garage and drinks whiskey every weekend.

>dealerships have...possibly lojack
Wow, stop talking out your ass any time

>he thinks there's a www.gibdeautistvininfoforabuck.com

No I dont, but apparently there are paid sources out there I don't know about so if you want to be useful, share some knowledge

This is what idiots actually believe.

Anyways good luck selling a car without giving someone the VIN.

Not the same person you're talking to. I think you're both retarded. I'm not some paranoid moron that thinks everyone is out to get me.

>dealerships have...possibly lojack
>Wow, stop talking out your ass any time

Your deliberate ignorance month after month is pretty scary.

A lot of makes (lexus, mercedes, GM, kia, etc) have cellular and satellite transmitters built-in already in order to support those subscription services.

Come look at the car. Prove to me that you're ready to buy. Then I'll gladly give you the vin or just show you the carfax report myself.

You would be surprised how many dealers have little in the way of security.
