Yep.
Yep, total meme, does nothing beneficial and is a royal pain to gap
Are these an even bigger meme?
>plasma core
That must be the biggest gimmick title I've seen today
they are actually serious about the plasma thing
>not using race plugs in your dd
To be fair I also have my engine running 8:1
>capacitor in a sparkplug
That explains why these things cost so damn much
dude plasma LMAO
make sure to mount 4 per cylinder
to go with 6 valves per cylinder
>inb4 diminishing returns
sounds a bit like coil packs
You realize that's a 4 cylinder with 16 valves and 8 spark plugs, right?
i don't think any cars still use distributors
for what purpose?
I was really lazy when picking the picture
and it turns out my memory serves me wrong there is no twin spark version of the v6
also its 24v
but im sure Ferrari does stupid spark plugs too
>Purpose ?
Fire and passion baby

>there's still room for a 7th valve
Oem plugs did better than like all the aftermarket meme plugs that we tested when i was in highschool
Looks like a method to reduce the life of the plug by like 90%
Its the spark plug equivalent of those cold air intakes hovering over the exhaust manifold after theyve taken off the stock cold air intake.
i was wondering what the purpose of adding a separate plug would be instead of making a single plug with two cathodes
but seeing your image makes more sense with the way the valves are positioned
flame propagation or some such thing
also one can recycle the standard spark plug design not that they are really trying to be cheep or anything
there is enough space in the cylinder head that they could even do triple spark plugs
oh yes
I don't think you're supposed to gap them
OE plugs out of an N54/N55
If they're that much a meme, BMW wouldn't be putting it in their vehicles.
story of an bmc a series I found that had been sitting for a decade
done almost all the flow charts
still only runs on one cylinder
finally get round to checking the spark plugs thoroughly
>70.000 ohms of resistance per plug
My old toyota camry had a dual earth electrode, but fucking hell they're like 4 times the price for a spark plug. Normal spark plugs are good enough.
shape of the sparkplug tip really affects combustion
a lot of OEMs (especially euros) use multi prong spark plugs for increased life and reliability
the difference vs. a normal spark plug is not much there's still only one spark. The spark jumps to the prong that's closest and does so until it wears down and another one is closer, repeat in a loop etc.
enjoy your electromagnetic asymmetry caused by sparks going to different earths in different cylinders
>has the same plug gap as a conventional plug
y tho
>there is enough space in the cylinder head that they could even do triple spark plugs
What makes you think that?
>sparks going to different earths in different cylinders
What, you mean like the spark in cylinder 1 goes to Earth West 1, while the spark in cylinder 2 goes to Earth East 1, while the spark in cylinder 3 goes to Datum Earth?
>tfw no one will get the joke
>8:1
your final drive? a/f ratio? compression ratio?
great post user, glad you know how to get a message across.
you probably think drag pulls are "racing" too lol
Anything that isn't a standard copper plug is gimmicky bullshit.
You don't need electrodes if your compression is high enough.
>implying bmw's not a meme
your plug replacement intervals are bullshit
poorfag detected
turbofag here copper has the best spark, other metals only last longer and I don't mind doing plugs once every 10 oil changes.
nigga a spark is a spark
>bmw in charge of good engineering.
