How hard do you need to fucking carry to actually gain rank? I'm killing 4/6 of the enemy team myself and still losing games because the other 5/6 literally cannot handle 2 people

Solo from silver to diamond here. All the way to plat I was basically soloing the enemy team. Sometimes we had a healer, sometimes we didnt and people rolled bastion + torb and then spend the match shouting at each-other, but even complete idiots can kill three people in total that manage to survive a choke. I play Zarya, and silver/gold players are pretty dumb, with squishies lumping together, so several right-clicks would wipe the entire backline.
Not sure what your rank gains are, but for me one win would give me as much SR as 2.5 losses, so I climbed really fast. Silver and gold each took me 1 day, plat took me 2, 50-ish games total.
