Is it a meme?

Is it a meme?

Objectively? Yes they are memes.

Does that mean they don't have merits? Nope. They are a shitload of fun to drive and are aesthetic as fuck.

they have literally no power. you're better off with a mark 2 poopra.

mkii supras are slower than ae86s, fucktard. also much heavier and shittier handling

I want one that looks identical to OP with a 3sge beams swap.

>not a 4age
y tho

/thread.

3SGE > 4AGE

what?

lighter, more power, still a rev-happy NA engine

no shit

Any modern econobox is better in every way besides "muh feels"

The thing with cars is that they're at least partially, art. They're culture. You can't separate the AE86 from the romanticism of the Japanese 80's and 90's when street racing, tuning, car meets, and motorsports were at their height. The AE86 is a symbol of a culture that is very appealing.

Of course the AE86 is way slower, and not as good to drive as plenty of other cars for the price. But only a fucking autist sees cars as nothing more than their ability to go fast. It's like saying a painting is just molecules of paint on molecules of paper. It completely ignores the meaning of it.

Also, if you have the money you can make an AE86 plenty fun and fast, so only a poorfag who has just enough to buy an ~8000 dollar car, but not enough to modify it would say it's "slow and shit". Ignore those losers.

wow, so deep, faggot. did you come up with that all by yourself or got it from reddit?

Wow, if a few simple sentences like that makes you so insecure about your intellect, you must be tragically dumb. Read a fucking book, and stop posturing your stupidity as a virtue.

>lighter
No

Good thing there are plenty of rwd hatchback economy cars to choose from. Oh wait...

If you can't see that there's culture and art in a photo like this, and all you see is a machine that can go around a track at a certain speed, you are fucking hopelessly autistic and dumb.

Like the setting the car is in, or what the car's history is doesn't have meaning that people care about. Why do you think people take close up shots of the "GT-R" badge or the "Trueno" badge. Like the styling of them is just that incredible, or they have some greater meaning to them?

Looks like some scumbag left trash in the road

Even without Initial D they were awesome cars. For some reason was very lightweight and balanced. Short wheel base made it peppy to drive. It's 4AG engine was built by Toyota to function at its optimum capacity only at high-revs which combined with the car's gearing is exactly what you want for drifting.

It was Japan's take at copying Italian super car designs but in a more affordable package for the mass consumer. It's sad that the Japanese no longer value performance and motorsport but focus more on giving masses appliance vehicles these days.

Enjoy your ban

I'm a poorfag myself, but I would never complain about how slow the AE86 was if I had one, I'd be happy to have it

>muh feels
Yeah, fun doesn't matter right? My prius is great, right guys? W-who needs fun.
