I play fire and water. I assume I should start with the GW dagger and bring it all the way to Quatre so I can run the Quatre/Altair meme team and have a GW dagger for the fire team?

I don't particularly like Quatre or any of the GW characters, really, but it seems wasteful not to make him when he's such a good water character now.

On a related note, there's no particularly good GW character for Fire, right? Just gun buttcheeks for maximum placebos?

Sarasa's pretty neat but I'm done with my dirt grid, it only existed to ensure I can solo levi magna and farm water stuff. I can do lv 100 Fenrir so I see no reason to take it any further, I don't really like the element or any of the characters in it like I like some of the water and fire ones. None of the GW characters really stand out to me, Song's cute but I don't have any intent of playing light.

Just get Esser.

Does the gun restock in the shop? If not, I'm wondering then why the gold cuffs would exist at all, because by the time you have a flip to complete 4 guns you'd more than likely have over 200 gold cuffs at minimum. At this point it'd be more of a formality. Also did the varuna bow need this to happen to it too? Feels kinda like the bows are being shit on after having their strings cut.

Maybe the showdowns could become permanent? These rates feel kinda like getting chev swords, except chev herself doesnt go into hiding for months at a time. This also doesn't bode well for future showdowns, but technically it IS a way to timegate powercreep by slowing down how fast you can acquire 'good' weapons per year, unless you're willing to shop for a quadrillion potions.
