But the point is the lore had her white. For political or some other reason they made her asian. It is their game and such but I never knew that aspect of it and finding out was a shock to me.

It wasn't political. Bioware just thought for some reason it'd be more appealing to try and get the Asian market by reverting Satele's design to a Asian since I imagine they assumed "Satele" and "Shan" sound too asian to be white.

Well, honestly we don't know that they changed her for political reasons. It could have been anything, even just a whim on the designer's part. I know it's easier to think, especially with how a lot of game devs act these days that it was a pandering sjw move but that isnt' necessarily the truth

there is NO CONTENT after the story, besides maybe uprisings, and that shit is so boring

I enjoy pugging, mostly as a healer or tank.
I've never done anything beyond tacticals though, I'd love to but I'm kind of intimidated by HM or even SM OPs.

I don't know. I honestly don't know if I have what it takes to start up SWG again. I used to love that game but I am so beaten down by all the stuff going on around me (work related, life related) that sometimes I think the simplicity of what this game has is what keeps me here.

I loved the pre-CU / pre-NGE SWG. I also enjoyed the NGE as well ESPECIALLY in the last days of the game before it got shutdown.

Flying in atmosphere was the greatest thing ever! I used to zoom around in my tie-fighter and I felt so happy just flying around doing nothing but just going on "patrol".

I will check out legends though. I thought of this van when I read legends and thought this is how I must look to people talking about SWG

for quite awhile it was the laughing stock of the emulation community (the code they used was stolen intellectual property from SOE, there were management problems, lots of drama, etc)

legends first started off with a different name, i think its been through like 5 rebrandings now

luckily i think all the cancerous people causing problems were kicked out, and legends has been up and running relatively smoothly since may or june

because of the stolen code they use, theres always that looming threat of whether disney will send a C&D, but i honestly doubt they would since swg is abandonware

last time i logged in, back in july, there were about 800 players, not sure what its like now
