Ok I know that a transfer from a vanilla system to a CFW one will work, and that transfers from CFW system to a vanilla one also works, but in the latter case, won't it leave any traces of hacks in the new system? I want to transfer my NNID from the hacked 3DS to a pristine 3DS free of hacks (the hacked one is a O3DSXL with 11.2.0-35U+Luma+A9LH and the new one is a N3DS with 11.0.0-33U)
I know that non-legit tickets won't get transferred since the transfer process validates them (as per one reply in this thread), but won't anything else (potentially nasty) come over from the hacked system to the pristine one that could leave it in a not-so-pristine state? (even if the transfer works, I fear something may come over which may signal that the NNID was involved previously with a hacked system).
I want to have a separate clean 3DS for accessing Pokebank, as I don't want to see the day Nintendo bans my NNID for having non-legit tickets in the same 3DS the NNID is in (just digital versions of the cartridges I own so I don't carry them around but in their eyes its still illegal) (I know they don't ban for this, and some people claim they couldn't figure it out, but I believe it may happen some day) (the only reason I've seem them banning for now is either literally cheating, or playing games way before street date which is totally stupid thing for a player to do)

Don't know if anyone remembers me. I'm the guy who got two 2DS's on eBay for my nephews for $50. One is at 9.9 and one is at 9.8 so I don't think I should have any trouble hacking them, assuming the free hacks still work. Both appear to be in good shape. One has moderate scratches at the top-right of the top screen but I don't think a 4 year old will notice.

The Wii doesn't know how to use NTFS and WBFS is unnecessary and with it you can't use the drive for anything else, like GameCube.

Same here, I've used a usb with wbfs just fine for quite a while now. I just grab the game I want, transfer it to the usb stick I use for wii games with that wbfs manager, and it's done and over with. I don't see any reason to do anything else.

When doing the file transfer method from a 3DS with CFW to a 3DS on 11.2, does it matter the firmware version of the 3DS with CFW? Both of them can be on 11.2 right, as long as the former 3DS already has arm9loaderhax?

also the 11.2 can't be hacked for now (I think? or does DSiware method still work in that version?) so unless that works, you are doing a transfer but won't be able to hack it.

Also, why would a9lh has anything to do with transferring?

I have an N3DS on 11.2, and another N3DS which is on 9.2 and I just got done putting arm9loaderhax on and moved emunand which it had previously.

I don't really have time to do the full process of system transfer now or for a few weeks (trip out of the country), but I would like to keep my options over. Basically I can update the CFWed N3DS to 11.2 and get a DSIware title on it for that right?

How shitty is the process to downgrade on a BF N3DS from a 2DS with RX Tools and SysNAND/EmuNAND?

if you are following everything on 3ds.guide you are set.

whatever version -> 9.2 -> 2.1 -> run some stuff to get OTP and install A9LH/Luma -> 9.2 again (are you at this step?)

If you are at that step, then if you already have A9LH/Luma/H9, you can do an update to 11.2 and nothing bad will happen.

Then you can get one of the DSi ware titles (but it must be purchased/legit! not a hackedinstalled one).

Then you can do the system transfer from the hacked 11.2 to the regular 11.2 and the legit title will move over with the hacked savefile.

You don't have to rehack the 2DS.
The DSiWare Transfer is just how you get the downgrade files onto your target 3DS.

how can you have an outdated database? if you read the QR code then the database will auto-update everytime you load the freeshop

Not sure how but my freeshop stopped auto-updating so I had to re-scan the QR code

maybe user didn't did it at first with the QR code, but loading a the encTitleKeys.bin file manually (happened to me).

But there's a part of the code I'm copying that says KERNEL followed by some other stuff, but the config I'm pasting to already has a KERNEL thing in it. Is this alright? Should I leave out the KERNEL part, or just toss it in there with the other KERNEL?

How do I go about transfering save data from an O3DS to a N3DS?
My O3DS had homebrew on it. Not sure if that works anymore.
My N3DS has a cfw on it and is dressed down to the nines.

I have save data from SMT IV and Bravely Default I want on my N3DS, but I don't know if just taking the contents from my O3DS and slapping it onto the directory of my N3DS will fuck up anything.
