It's an overdrive gear for the highway you'll never in city or on track. It just makes shifting from 4th to 5th more difficult.

It does have more power, but the GTR's computer is significantly more sophisticated and knows when to adjust it's power throughout track conditions for optimal performance. This is why a 545 bhp car that weighs 3900+ lbs can run a quarter mile in the 10's.

GTR's computer, user. It's a beast.

How built is your LS7 to put out 600hp+? They come with 505 bhp. Meaning it's making around 450 rwhp. You're not just tuning that engine to make 150+ more hp to the wheels or 100+ more to the crank. Also, the LS7 has an aluminum block, non-coated cylinders, and cast aluminum internals. Boosting it to the point of making real power gains would destroy it.

All cars depreciate off the lot unless it's seriously rare. And Z4M's are still 13 sec cars. I'd rather have a stock Cobra and run 12's. Quicker 0-60 as well. But, that's just me. Enjoy your Z4M. They are pretty good cars.
