Is this game good for learning how to work on cars?

No. I am a mechanic, i love this game. But the game wont tell you what each part does, and the car in itself is too basic to compare it to working on modern cars, and it lacks the main importance of doing stuff like having each individual bolt accounted for, replacing, torqe'ing each one, etc.

Nope. None at all. My summer car is as realistic as they come and even then it could have things like piston rings simulation, having to build the entire gearbox and cyl head, oil pump building, etc. Not that i complain, this is great.
