Damn, he must have been mad jelly at all the cock you got to suck. You did well. Except you bought a Kockasucki.
Thomas Powell
I bought it like 4 years ago, just never really rode it.
Benjamin Perez
Why don't you install radial engines on your bike?
Landon Powell

There are a lot of things wrong with this picture, but one thing I see commonly and is shown here is the forks meeting the front wheel slightly off center. What's up with that? Forgive me for I am not educated
Dominic Cooper
>tfw all i want to do is ride slow bikes fast
Brody Ortiz
You don't exactly have a choice, rolling/tumbling can be better than sliding depending on what surface you are on.
I'd rather tumble on a chip sealed road, some of those surfaces are rough. It is basically sandpaper with 1/2in stones for grit.
Anthony Ramirez
>he doesnt understand basic mechanics
Grayson Lopez
look at the front suspension set up and use your brain as to why it should be setup like that.
Connor Martin
it's called springer suspension.

levers are magic when combined with some thought and you add a spring

Maybe, i don't know, but i love how someone managed to make something strange like this work. It's ride-able tho youtube.com/watch?v=2n4xzvdc32g

It's awesome, but I want to see someone ride it on some twisties.
Jordan Morgan
Fuck the haters here, this bike looks fucking sweet.
Dominic Turner
Thats about it, it looks cool and is totally unpractical.
Jackson Hill
It's hand built, it's a work of art that is still functional. If you want something practical then drive a light truck.
Jacob Fisher
that was gay, there was no riding just revving
Charles Thompson
>still functional
For what, putting around a carpark. It is useless, it you could actually ride it on twisties or even drag race it. It would be worthy, otherwise it is indonesian hipster rubbish

How much should I realistically expect to spend on my first bike, which I'll be learning to ride on? And how big should I plan on it being?

I see no reason it couldn't ride around the roads. Just jealous you couldn't build your own bike, not even considering around an engine like that.
Hi. I did a "controlled riding group" track day in Ontario. This is what you have after lessons for track time with instructors available, but not formal lessons.
I took my GS500F on the track to lean to corner with my bike, rather than having to transfer the skills to it after using a rental bike. Quite a lot of the guys in my level (1) found that they were held up in the corners by slower riders who would then crank open the throttle down the straight, and the faster cornering riders couldn't pass them. They got quite frustrated over time.
Riders passed me so much faster on the straights, though, that they were either gone by the first corner or at least by the next one, and I rode unimpeded pretty much all the time! A decent speed differential is a good thing. No one complained about me either, as they could all get ahead of me at the next straight and there were 4 of them on the circuit plus a few other passing places (passing in corners was forbidden at that level).
I have finally scrubbed off the chicken strips! Had a great time.
Adam Perry
Congratulations on getting to the track. The GS500 really is an excellent track bike. IMO, one of the best for someone who's new to the experience.
Angel Roberts
I was safely passing some ducati's, sv650's, and a handful of bmw's then having them run around me on the straight
