Alright, keep walking

I have no idea if he was a dark bishop or evil pope, its been a while so if I got it wrong sorry don't toss me to garm pls - thx.

you cunt

>tfw your pawn is more brave than you

pawns call him the dark bishop

AUGHT

>8 dominion claws in a row
make it stop

>when you're so okay at the game you have to farm death to speed up leveling

>tfw you fire one arrow to many

damn.
Nice shot tho. All this time and I love the way death leans back before he takes you out. Its so gimmicky but imposing. When you see it you know you've lost something - either some pawns or this save.

>finish Part1 for the first time
>after the battle your waifu literally goes down on you
Lewd

It really is great, there's no other enemy in the game except for maybe Daimon's vortex that can really evoke that "Oh shit" feeling.

Oh, speaking of that, does anyone have the link to the post in the archive where the user who figured out the Main Pawn's ID No.?

dunno what you're talking about, but what for?

You can manipulate the beloved after the dragon kidnaps them to change them to anyone, even people you can't have (i.e. Edmun, Olra, yourself, and even your main pawn). You just need their number.

An user here a while ago figured out the Main Pawn's number.

>TFW dll hooks let you just directly set your pawn's gear to dragonforged
I know it's cheating, but dancing around in Sorc garb trying to slay a cursed dragon with 600 MAtk because you're really a Warrior is the absolute worst.

maybe respeccing yourself and then doing it proper will make you feel less guilty

I'm pretty sure the result is locked in.

>Implying guilt

Naw man, it feels great. Straight up quality of life improvement.

Guess I could cheat my stats to be like a Sorc then 'earn' the forging, but I've done it enough times before that I really don't mind skipping it on this playthrough. Don't mind hunting down monsters for mats and Barroch to enhance, that's fun.

But doing forge runs for the pawn? Pass.

...

Bless you user.

Post arisen & pawn

...

Oldie but goodie.

...

Both the men are mine, but the woman in red isn't. Her name's Morrigan. It's too bad her creators inactive, she was lovely.

...

...

I mean I've farmed Daimon 8 times for 8 different lv3 weaps and they've all been Dominion Claws. Started godsbaning to switch it up to see if I could get MA stuff and it's always been Bitter End or Darkening Storm. Fuck everything

Hes more like a nusiance to me.
Hes boring, dumb and not fun at all.

Are you throwing away the cursed weapon after reloading thinking that you can save rift crystals that way? If you don't like the result you have to accept it or you will always get the same thing. Think of cursed items as tickets to get the next item on your list. You can't skip things on your hidden list, only accept 1 of the 3 potentials from red yellow or blue.

I'm mixed about Death.

On the one hand, he IS obnoxious as fuck. Unless I've deliberately set out to hunt him, I just ditch his ass. He's probably gonna clip one of my pawns anyhow, and if I felt like sending out three stars with a bodybag I'd brine a bitch. Really just an overall groove kill, like I'm just minding my business delving BBI then this asshole shows up.

On the other hand, there's always at least one enemy that'll make me sit the fuck up and pay attention no matter how OP I get. That's actually kinda nice once you cap at L200 and are just farming rings/mats/armor-effects.

>be loli arisen because I'm a disgusting human being
>get Fournival
>ugly fat man literally forcing himself on an underaged girl
BAD TOUCH! BAD TOUCH!

Nope, I'm purifying them and keeping them. I know all that about the 'hidden set lists' which is why I'm all the more annoyed about EIGHT DOMINION CLAWS

It's okay, I'll probably run out of things to do after finally getting my stalk.

And goldforging everything.

>Be loli pawn
>Go on grand adventures with auntie arisen
>Retire to the forest
>Become a real human-bean after given spark by auntie arisen
>Fucking Grigs swoops in and picks you up
>Goddamn fatass arisen actually beats Greg
>Now I have to force myself on fatass arisen, because he just killed Grigori and that asshole told fatass I'm his 'beloved' and I'm fucking scared

Goddamnit, why couldn't have been Fournival?

if it makes you feel any better it took me close to 100 level 3 novelties to get a single warrior skill ring (and it was crap, I have not gotten warrior skill rings since then), and close to 500 level 3 weapons (I lost count so it may have been many more) to get a single Bitter End

I'm convinced there are 'cursed' item lists since there's a similar mechanic to MH charm tables for determining what you'll get at character creation

>Rush up Midnight Helix for early void key
>Forgot liftstone
>Gargoyle grabs me when I'm right at the edge
>Fall down the entire pit with the gargoyle attached
>No fall damage
>Run out there key and all

Well, that was a fun ride.

I beat Daimon's second form just now and I'm a bit perplexed. Is he supposed to be a sandbag? He attacked me like 8 times during the fight and all of the attacks were piss easy to dodge. Aside from that, he was just kinda floated around trying to make up his mind on whether or not he should do something.

Next time bring a wakestone.

I always look around for a few shards so that once I nab the key I can just faceplant to the ground then sprint out.

He ought to have tried to suck everyone up in a vortex.

Are you ranged? He's pretty piss-easy for archer types, he's only really dangerous when you climb him or are too close when he drops a vortex.

Speaking of cool stories of flight...

>Trying to get that sculpture in the second part of BBI where you need to hitch a ride
>Grab a harpy's feet, fry into flee
>Misjudge the dismount, welp that sucks
>This is it...
>Hired pawn reaches out to catch me, saves me from doom

Sometimes this game is really rad.

Yeah, Daimon is kind of a pushover when you learn his tricks. Vortex wind up is your invitation to pop a liquid vim and pummel his face in

once he gets knocked out of vortex he's probably not getting back up before he dies.

For sure.

The only reason he 'sucks' is if you're melee and sometimes you get caught by something you literally couldn't do anything about, otherwise you're just hanging on mashing light attack on his face with the appropriate augments.

Daimon 1.0 is a fun fight tho', but 2.0 really is a floating sandbag.

Daimon 1.0 is the much better fight.

>I-Its just bad lighting!

Everytime i see him i beat his ass untill he leaves like a pussy.
Its when he sometimes clips the floor with his scythe already swinging that i hate him.

Lol.

Once I had him hide up in an alcove and basically camp me. Couldn't hit him with anything, and the asshole would wind up the lantern or scythe as soon as I got almost near enough to strike.

Just killed daimon for the first time, so excited, so when i go in again the mobs will change right? Also how do i get better equipment? I'm lvl 79-80 ish and still can't legit kill eliminators/gorecyclopses or any of the necrophanges side from garms

need to whore out pawn some more for RC to upgrade gear thanks guys :)

>thought I was using Rudy ENB this whole time
>I wasn't
>was using something totally different
>actually install Rudy
This looks way fucking better than the blown out daytime weather I had before. Makes me lose like 10 frames though. I'll have to try the performance version.

do you have a quest that requires cursed dragon horns?

do that (you can dupe the one you got from the pope battle)
then you can buy most lv2 bbl weapons

Holy SHIT out played

Goblin bullying is both, allowed and encouraged

Just sent back Titta and Puabi with bucks and gifts, but if you want something just ask.

Just finished the shadowfort
Got that guy good

I actually had around 15 sobering wines on me at the time but i had to give that to him, it was just great.

i've been trying to make a mod for weeks but i suck i want to die

main pawn on left

>main pawn is finally good at kiting him (with help from "come here" command)
>also she's immune to sleep
>I happen to be carrying weaker weapons because I switched classes and need to dragonforge
>doing basically no damage

how do I damage this bastard? I was using a Dragon's Glaze, is he immune to elements or something?

I fucking killed daimon 2.0 with that bow.

...

hit the lantern senpai, it's his weakspot

>accidentally killed the griffin before it could fly away
>tried to use revert to last check point but that makes me lose hours of gameplay

>have never managed to kill it before it flies away, even when over-geared and stacking 4x periapts
even when it's on fire it just flies away and doesn't give a fuck

not that it matters because you have to head to bluemoon for the next quest anyway

The first one becomes invincible at 1.5 bars and will auto extinguish itself instantly so it's impossible to kill or keep grounded

You can kill the bluemoon one early and skip the entire quest but as that other user said you gotta go there anyways to get the ring back from Salomet.

My pawn decided to Great Gamble it's face off. I honestly wasn't expecting it to go down so quickly, me and my pawns are only in the 40s and I'm only traveling with my main pawn and a sorcerer.
I just wanted the cinematic experience.

...

...

Is there a way to see if a pawn's player is active?
Also, what determines which pawns spawn and wander around in my game?

I'm just checking /ddg/ after a long while, but why not?
A friend recently bought DDDA and I decided to pay a visit.

I'm glad to hear that, thank you. I never got the chance to hire your alt pawn, but he looks really good.
I haven't really played in half a year, but I'm going to stream one or two BBI runs for a friend, although anyone is welcome to watch.

>Is there a way to see if a pawn's player is active?
No, as far as I know.
>Also, what determines which pawns spawn and wander around in my game?
Friends' pawns have priority, then favourite, then random pawns around your level.

before save corruption

whoever said MA was bad for base game is full of shit

should i just skip the catacombs and watergod's altar wyrm hunt quests?

already done them once on another save

...

You mean you don't enjoy playing the game?

why did the warrior class get so shafted

Sweet, thanks for the gear, and thanks _kalam!
Gonna try and improve her looks.

Is that the beginning of a lesbo porn movie?

Capcom hates fun.

Is DDO worth the effort at the moment? Is there a lot of connection problems? Also the link on the pastebin for the torrent doesn't work, does anyone have a working link?

That's a big guy.

rivet is the bomb
what are some good dagger skills?

immoliation + kisses is really good but it's only used for bosses yet takes up 2/3rds of my skills so i want to switch it up

They fixed them in DDO, best DPS right now and at the same probably the hardest one to play.

I'm actually, seriously, really enjoying DDO. Shame it will never come to the west.

Zero connectivity problems for me, i use the VPN bypass so i only have the VPN on during login.
There's a pinned post on dragonsdogmaonline reddit with instructions and up to date game+translation links.
Yes fucking reddit, it and wyrm knights discord are the only active western DDO communities so deal with it.

I use Grand Scension, Sunflare and Instant Reset. I'm a purely magick based MA though. Just because I felt like it, not because it's better or worse.

i thought sunflare was shit at the start but when you upgrade it it's like the best move i have for clearing small to mid-sized fodder

I like doing flips all over the place too, so that's a bonus. If I were to replace any of the dagger skill, that would be the one though. Scension is way way stronger than it looks, and reset is just too useful. Although I suppose you'd survive without it.

MA is one of the most effective classes imo.

So DDO is good? I heard it was disappointing, but maybe i'm wrong

I've been running kisses, immolation and rebalancer for a while now. I'll probably replace rebalancer since i never remember to use it. I might try scension.

I thought this was Skyrim before I remembered what general I was in and saw the grass textures. s'pretty gud.

how are your load times?

>In Aid of the Emerald King I
>becomes available post-Dragon

>In Aid of the Emerald King IV
>gives Trophy Bracers I want
>requires quest I through III
>can't be done post-Dragon

wtf.

the way noticeboards hoard quests and drip feed them to you is also really dumb

what? you want all the quests?

If i give you all the quests, everyone will want all the quests, it'll be anarchy!

Btw could you get me 20 macabre sculptures?

Has anyone played BBI on hard mode in dark arisen? Holy shit I swear that shit is impossible without cheat engine

It's really not, play MA, or Ranger, or Strider... it's easy.

Does Warrior ever get better? It's fun as fuck to just stand there, never getting staggered, and just sweeping your sword through the enemie. The lack of useful skills is getting on my nerves though, nothing so far (vocation level 6) does more damage than just simply attacking.
I'll probably just go try an Assassin next or run through the rest of the game as a Sorceror
Also, how do I beat an armored cyclops as a Warrior? I can make it take its helmet off, but clinging to its head to attack its eye really isn't my specialty, and I can't attack its legs without bouncing off the armor

Continue attacking the legs until the armor pops off

Well you can plonk at its armor until it drops off, climb them, or just go make some tea and let your sorcerer pawns take care of it.
As a warrior, your standard (and jumping) attacks are your best skills anyway.
Warriors only get worse as you progress, not better.

Where the hell are all of these coming from?

I see, I always thought it was lightning spells that made it pop off
>Warriors only get worse as you progress, not better.
Yeah, that's what I assumed. I've seen people using that big attack (arc of deliverance?) where you charge up for longer than a sorceror would and hope to hit the enemy
>let your sorcerer pawns take care of it
Every single time I've fought a chimera as a Warrior, I've had a fun time slowly whittling it down, until suddenly my pawns decided to spell sync grand ingle and it fucking dies immediately
Anyway, thanks for the tips guys. Maybe Assassin will be great, but so far Sorceror is definitely the most fun

red vocations have it hard
play anything else and you'll be fine
