Do it

They need to stop naming them things that imply playable theocracy when we'll never get playable theocracy.

Is 5 million socialist rebels rising up in a country with all reforms in peacetime historically accurate?

I'm honestly pretty butthurt about this.

I'm doing a klein Japaniums run, (sakhalin kurils, korea, taiwan, phillipines, pacific+hawaii) going to make an ethnically pure Japanese empire with puppets in Indochina and Indonesia, but China just westernized and I only got 2 treaty ports in that time. It's 1890ish What do I do?
Also what's the best way to take the phillipines, I have the rest of my territory already

Seize the means of production desu

Go to war with Spain

A GLORIOUS EMPIRE BUILT TO LAST!

Show liquor

Should I demand each state or should I just release it then make a protectorate
Also will China rape me? Or are they going to be fucked forever due to tech. I have the second best military

Guys.
How do you expect theocracies to EVER become playable if they are not hereditary?
It would be insta-gameover whenever your character died.

Now being able to play as landless would be the shit... Infinite replayability AND it would solve the theocracy issue.

>Conclave
>Literally a gathering of clerics which determines who the next Pope will be
Lol nope, it's a change to the laws mechanic along with an unrealistic boost to council power and a bunch of laws that could never have existed in medieval times!

>Monks and Mystics
Literally two kinds of cleric
Lol nope, secret societies or some bullshit.
>Glorious Empire
>Poland, UBD, and Bohemia not annexed
>Austria-Hungary still owns Austria

3/10

LOOK INTO MY EYES, YOU SEE COMPROMISE?

>It would be insta-gameover whenever your character died.

you play 5915d chess and control all possible heirs and scheme to get one of them elected

China can't do shit if you just sit on your ports with a reasonably sized army. Expand to defensible positions at will.

Or just make landless characters playable and keep playing as your child even if it doesn't inherit the theocracy.

They could at least give us something useful instead of 11th century full voting franchise and "durr illuminati"

This desu, just introduce some kind of adoption mechanic that's modified for ecclesiastical succession

What are treaty ports and how do you get them?

You have to invade the gumdrop kingdom.

>child
>theocracy
You do know that the only worthwhile theocracies are Catholic and Orthodox, right?
War with China in some mods in Victoria II, they'll give up a port city and you get a bunch of prestige.

last shill in this thread from me

Hey, i really wanna get into GS games, mainly victoria (it's the only one i have actually seen, but any recs is acceptable) but i'm a dumbass and i've never played any tbs game, in fact the only strategy games i've played are RTS, like aoe and aom. As i said before, since i've only seen Vic II gameplay, that's the one i'm gonna buy, but how do i get into it? is there like a total beginner guide?

Thanks in advance

>total beginner
>Victoria II

EU4 is the easiest one, and HoI4 isn't that hard either. If you can get into Victoria II and play it right, then by all means do it, but EU4 is the best game to start out on.

>How do you expect theocracies to EVER become playable if they are not hereditary
Being able to play as landless yeah
I mean watch, they're going to add in fucking China and have '''''landed aristocracy''''' and '''''feudalism'''' and we'll have to deal with retards thinking feudalism existed in China past 200 BC.

I'll honour this thread with funposting about best paradox game.

victoria2wiki.com/Strategy_guides
Vicky 2 is a nice place to start, just play a big nation like USA or Russia the first couple of games to learn the mechanics. EU4 is trash, ignore the other user.

>best paradox game
>imply

>t. IQ 89 subhuman that deluded himself into thinking he's part of the elite cadre of autists
post-ironicalism was a mistake

Only patricians play HoI3 + Black Ice

EU4 is trash, but it's easy trash.

ancient kingdoms grand strategy when

Maybe the next game. But it will be shit, and use watered down EU mechanics.

Four corps to hold the yugoslav line, three corps in reserve to make a breakthrough south of Zagreb

Romania honours mutual defence pact with yugoslavia, but their troops wont arrive in time to make a difference.

Not just China and prestige is the least important thing you get out of them unless you're playing as a total shithole.

Over half the yugoslav army has been caught in encirclements

Please give HPM Gran Colombia strats FAST

I'm playing them in /gsg/, wish I could help.

Why don't civilized countries in America get the scramble for Africa CB? I'm playing as Quebec and I'm a great power but I don't have the CB even though the other GPs do.

Once the pockets have been closed we'll reorganize our army for another spearhead.

300.000 men is gathered for the push on belgrade, 1 arm moves north into Romania and one south through Serbia proper.

Anything I should know playing as nips in HOI4
>inb4 playing HOI4
Gonna try out the casual shit then try out HOI3

prepare buttholes europe

Because the Berlin Congress specified Africa should be divided between European powers that abolished slavery.
HPM decided to take his autism to another level and refused to give the CB to the Ottomans and Russia as well.

Romania will be significantly easier to push through because of terrain.

>33 brigades
Hope you got good allies user or prepare for partitions

That's NNM stuff, HPM didn't change that.

Once yugoslavia surrenders we'll free up and send a few corps along the north bank of the danube.

>HoI3 poster
YESSSSS

Can someone recommend me a mod for HOI3 that isn't unstable as fuck (HPP) or eats all of my toaster's RAM (BICE)? Anyone have any experience with August Storm? And what's all that stuff in the HOI3 map in the MEGA link?

HPP is fucking shit anyway, I'd recommend TRP.

are you proud of me you cuck fetishist freaks?

The romanian front in the north has stalled and there are signs of supply problems but once reinforcements arrives from Serbia arrive bucharest will fall before new year.

Aren't soldier pops a bit too small? Why not go with 3k pops/unit which is also what the game shows us, instead of 1k pops/unit?

I would much rather control 10 units of 30k soldiers than 30 units of "30k" (10k in reality).

>[blank] has supported the could d'etat
Nice cheats bruh

Do you have take it manually in a war by place in the sun cbs?

TRP or that one WW1 mod I can't remember the name of which was really good.

Albania is buttering up to me, they will join our glorious Fascist Republic willingly soon.

What do you think about totallly moving to Americas in EU4? I've tried it and it worked nice. I've started as Brittany - it's small (4 provinces) and have trade center (Nantes).

I've first developed Exploration and when I could I've colonized island in caribbeans. Later I went for North America provinces - started with Quebec and Manhattan. When I've had enough provinces in NA I've sold everything except Nantes in Europe and moved capital to Quebec (later also sold Nantes). From there I've colonized and conquered Northeast and Canada.

The leftovers of the Yugo navy was garbage, would have taken the resources if I knew.

I did it as tyrone back in the day, moved entirely to the caribbean and conquered much of the eastern seaboard but it got boring pretty fast. once you've moved to the americas it's very easy
