Silesia is actually more valuable since its a cheap target that makes your border with the Germans small and easy to defend. Rheinland requires 95 war score to demand which is quite a lot in that first war. I quickly overwhelmed the Prussians in this second war, destroying their armies in the east letting the french charge up through the corridor.
