you can get the up-armored commander variant, but not the 5.7 one

AFAIK, they removed all API from custom .50 belts, so unless I heard wrong universal belt now has only 1 incerdiary round in entire sequence, and ground belt have none.

I just want user on dev server to check on it, since with my connection, patch will likely be here, before I finish downloading dev client.

Does anyone know how the MEC for the turbocharger on the P47 works?

Whenever I disable the auto mode and try to change the rpm it says that it stays at 0%.

It works like a throttle. As far as I can tell from the manual and some pilots, you only had to set the manifold pressure and the system open and closes the waste gates to maintain it, until you fly too high and you need to manually lower the turbo.

leave it on auto, it's more realistic this way afaik

Every couple of matches I'd fly FW-190F-8 for CAS duty and bully M18's to death with machineguns & cannons from above, and watching them from above I couldn't help but notice that there was always one M18 that kept it's cannon pointed at precisely where the closest teammate tank was despite both moving and having no visual line of sight to each other, what with all the town's buildings in the way.

Even when I strafed the guy he kept the cannon pointed at his direction.

Since my shadowplay has been fucking up all week and saves at random intervals (if at all) I don't have the footage of it.

He most likely had alt account on our team on spectator mode. Hell, possibly even spectating from my point of view.

sorry to break it to you, but late Panzer IV was just as unreliable, and had cross-country speed about enough to keep up with infantry.

Reason for it was simple: as Panther's design matured, more and more issues was solved. French, for example, estimated longevity of late Panther's engine to 1000 km. Also if you look up mileage, late Panthers had double range on same amount of fuel, compared to early Panthers.
As for Panzer IV, it reached improvement dead end with G variant. Any further increase of weight would put serious damp on both mobility and reliability, which is why it was delayed for so long, and when battlefield situation forced increase, it resulted in exactly what was predicted.

Word of warning: at first it feels very clumsy (somehow clumsier than IS-1 at start IMO) and the reload time is hell but you'll appreciate the 122mm gun. Also the armor is pretty lame for the BR but manageable

I've never had any problems with the first IS-2 - as long as you realize the armor is cardboard at close range. Atleast the mod. 1944 has sloped upper frontal armor which makes the effective line-of-sight armor thickness 210-230mm.

well, during Ardens event I had melee battle with Tiger in my Jumbo. Seem like we both had only stock ammo, so we kept shooting with no results, trying to aim at ports and shit, while pushing each other.
Managed to fuck up his gun, but eventually died when 2 spall flakes hit my transmission setting me on fire, since I had no FPE.

You start off with APDS in those IIRC. Maybe APCR for the M48 but the starting 8.0 shell is usually APDS. It's okay, tho you have to aim for ammoracks if you want oneshot kills.

Only thing I'm "afraid" with the IS-2 is Tiger II and even it has massive weakspots (like the side sponson which is butter) and lower frontal plate at close range. Panther II's are also tough but killable.
