Anything with more than 8 cilinders should be savored anyways.

Engine configuration has very little to do with revs or torque though. Bore/stroke ratio and specific tuning is more important for that.

You can get a super duty with a v10 for dirt cheap.

I'd much rather have a 700hp RS6 then a 500hp M5. Somehow, the V10 M5 seems like the douche-iest BMW I can think of (except the V8 M3), although a manual one would be a godmachine. I just love the idea of a Lamborghini V10 slapped into a regular wagon, and then the engineers adding turbo's because it'd be too slow otherwise.
