It's possible to mod a car well. If done properly it should be hard to tell that it was modded at all.

If people want to do that, more power to them. But if you're literally asking for my fucking opinion, don't be surprised when I take a shit on it for making the car worse.

If you are going to get a project car use it as a project. The e46, aka the subject of this thread, and most Nissans are project cars. If you need a daily get a car that cant be used as a project.

Also not all projects will take it off the road for all day.
