To avoid alphonse bumping threads off, Meet people do their forum posts elsewhere. It's those other places that pictures, videos, and other info get passed around. Some groups use KIK but there are other forums for those that want more online internet than smartphone forums like KIK.

A lot of fun roads even in "warm" coastal states like Washington are already closed for the season. And those states have almost daily drizzle or rain until March.
I suppose winter rains or snow matters for Veeky Forums groups that combine driving with some outdoor activity like Chicago or Washington. Their events are more summer based since it's not purely just all driving around. They go to new places every time and do things like outdoors shooting at a range or a short nature hike or visit a car mod shop like in chicago.
