It's possible, but not without slicks, a track, complete gutting the car, and gears.

Look nigger, getting to 60 and covering a quarter mile are two entirely different things. Not only that, but just as with top speed, you need exponentially increasing power to reduce a time on a quarter mile drag run. 200hp is good for 16s-15s but to get into the 12s you need at least twice that much power. And then there's the question of grip which is why you need those humongous drag tires at the front which are absolutely necessary if you plan on breaking under 12s.
