Whats the longest period you kept the same car?

Whats the longest period you kept the same car?

Been driving this nigger since 2009 (7 years)

Of slightly more than 10 years I'm (legally) driving, I've had my M5 for 5 of that.

>almost a whole decade of seeing that sad face each day

its a mirror of my soul, sadness and depression

maybe a different car choice would cheer you up more

Had my first car for 2 years before it got rearended

the piece of shit in the back 2 years and going
that beauty in the front a few months

8 years, sold her in Feb this year. Kinda miss the car, never set a foot wrong desu

my personal car it's 5 years with my old mk1 gti

my current car though, which was passed down from my dad has been in our family for 14 years

4 years and counting on my dd/penis extender.
To bad the americans didn't get the manual, I'm sure they would have a larger following if they did.

(don't get me wrong, they are still shitboxes)

Close to 20 years.

It was good. But I think I should have bought a fun car in my 20s.

This little fucker for 5 years

since 2009 as well.

2 tranny rebuilds, fuel pump, alternator and batteries. Except for the tranny, I honestly believe 3rd gen Explorers and Mountaineers are very well made truck based SUVs. Mine has been in the air, power slide in mud sand snow, and has spent plenty of time right at the redline

Why not go for the Ayylmao?
>looks better (subjective, I know)
>slightly bigger and therefore more practical
>cheaper

Still with my 72 bug since 2004. Funny how things changed.
>2004: lol that's a real old old car man. This shit belongs to the trash!
>2016: hey awesome car bro! want to sell? *air cool is cool cap*
But I have other cars too.

9 months I think for a ranger I had til it got totaled.
Maybe a year for an XR600
Looking at picking up vehicle #14 this weekend.
Hopefully this one sticks.

That's fucking cool, drive it forever. I had my volvo from 2009 to 2013, but stupidly sold it to buy a car that could handle the freeways better for my new commute. I did a lot of work on that car and I miss it so much. It had character and my new car does not.

>2 tranny rebuilds, fuel pump
>in 7 years

wtf

My dad bought his '48 Chevy Coupe straight from the factory, drove the shit out of it until he passed it on to me when I turned 16. I've had the car ever since '82. Been restored twice, maintained heavily, I still daily it.

Does everyone on Veeky Forums drive a Fiesta?

Had this baby since March, could do with a bit more power.

The dealer had a hard time shifting these, so they ended up selling them cheaper than the ayylmao. Interior and noise isolation is better in the iq, but at the expense of weighing about the same as the ayylmao despite being smaller.

But yeah it's basically a smaller, dumber and more expensive aygo.

I part ex'd my mk6 1.2 for a pre reg FiST. The FiST is great, but I do miss the old car.

Hey, I 've been driving the same car for 5 years. It has the happy face though.

16 years and counting.
I've only put 60K on it so far, though.

Owned this one since 2002. 2000 F150 2WD long bed. Nothing fancy about it.

ALL these facelifts suck.

Original MKIII without any badly aging facelift fuckery is still the best looking.

If I had a facelift, I'd totally swap it to the old look.

Had an ae86 weekend car for 9 years. It's my buddy, I'll never sell it.

yeah agreed

the mk3 is the best one so far

with the top engine they also went like stink.

lightweight + beefy engine is magical.

I never keep cars that long, always jumping
Old to new
>1994 Corsica
I owned it from 2008-2009. It was my fathers and sisters before that, bought in 2004
>1996 Lesabre
2009-2012
>1995 Riviera
2012-2016
>Subaru Legacy
>2016-

Reporting in. 2005 Ghia 1.6.

I had my Accent for 9 years. Fucker never broke down or caused me any issues and I beat the shit out of it.

good man, people with Fiestas have the biggest dicks.

pic related this is my baby, it loves to drink petrol

I agree with you, but the MK4 has a better handling over the MK3.

Just over a year on my 190E. Had my motorbike for 3 years in Jan.

why britbongs love fiestas so much?

1997 Buick Riviera for 8 years.
3800 supercharged, at 200k now. Going to drive it into the ground, hopefully at least another 50k

They're pretty reliable. mines done about 180k and still going strong

Cuz this is a small country, England is more densely populated than Japan, its impractical to have an Evo or a M3, so I put tints, alloys and a spoiler on my Fiesta and cruise like a lowrider

Still have my 05' tc from 05. 121k miles, things been good to me.

I've been driving a Chevy Aveo5 for nigh on six years. I fucking want to kill myself. It's been reliable af, but I fucking hate hatchbacks.

>all GM trash
>1 Subaru
Smartest decision you made.

Been driving this nigger since 2010. Haven't had to do anything to it but regular maintenance.

>England is more densely populated than Japan, its impractical to have an Evo or a M3,
Yet the richfags own multiple rolls royces, bentleys and range rovers

Its the only car they can afford the insurance for.

This

This also.

As a first car, it's a brilliant starter. Can't go wrong with one if you look after it.
