You answered your own question.
American Dagumi wouldn't dorifto, he'd go very fast in a straight line delivering burgers
to the sound of ZZ top sped up 3000bpm
/thread
Kinda has that dukes of hazzard kinda feel
>what are mountain roads
youtube.com
ANY WAY YOU WANT IT BABY
I AM YOUR BURGER MAN
What's the B stand for?
No no, user. That is not what the US is known for. Japan has the togay covered, thus japanese Dagumi does the dorifto, the typical japanese car back in the days had a puny engine but was fairly nimble. The US is known for looooooooong straight as fuck highways, big muscle cars with huge engines and shit handling, quartermile races and nascar. Surely american Dagumi would have to adhere to that.
>The US is known for looooooooong straight as fuck highways, big muscle cars with huge engines and shit handling
but that would the Wangan Midnight equivalent
the Initial D equivalent would be Good Ol Boys delivering moonshine through Appalachia sliding around every corner
american dagumi would just be a dude that doesn't crash
Or some other shit. But yeah, dagumi would probably have a base Foxbody or another base model on the same chassis. He'd be going up against chargers, challengers, a GNX, Panthers, etc.
yeah Im with you on a Foxbody
even have Esslinger to deal in for an insanely expensive racing engine to drop in
replace Eurobeat with fast banjos and fiddles and you got Cletus D Burger
Burgers
Burger
There is no reason for the racing type to be limited by nationality.
I dont think people know about the California canyons or Appalachian roads
even if you type in American road on google its all straight highway through the desert
There is no reason why Dagumi couldn't take on German/Japanese cars as well. It's supposed to be set in the late 90's/early 00's, plenty of imports to race.
Except he didn't it was Japanese only so obviously American Dagumi would drive an American car and race in the most American style there is.
See this has already been done by Dukes of Hazard though - plus it's not the 70s anymore.
Highway loop racing is also different from drag races stoplight to stoplight.
>Cletus D Burger
That hit me in the funny bone way too hard
youtube.com
this with burger instead of pizza then?
>drag races stoplight to stoplight.
itd be a marvel just to keep that interesting
kek
I dont know of any burger delivery places so I think itd stay pizza
thats like perfect tho
No man americans can't turn because the only established motorsport with turns you have is MX
Even if you have roads with turns and drivers who go fast down them, because you don't have a major established motorsports organization that races cars on road courses, you can't turn. I know this is because racing is ultimately business like other spectator sports and there's no reason to fix what isn't broken and pull in a brand new fanbase, but american's can't turn. Call when you have more people paying millions a year to race in F1.
I know youre taking a piss but come on son
It's not on TV enough so it doesn't count
yes it is
What would British Dagumi drive?

>British Dagumi drives a Rover
>pic related happens every race
Would.
>front-wheel drive
i was thinking maybe panda, but that's just fucking wrong
nah
is it RWD? 5-speed manual?
Keked. But the Rover V8 is top tier.
Anyway, what would his type of racing be? I was thinking hillclimb or rally.
yes some had a 4 speed tho
>It doesn't say "Cletus' Burger Delivery" in comic sans on the side of the car
Ruined.
No. The Corolla worked in the original because it was an economy car with great balance and great handling. The Mustang has none of that. It's a light RWD which is the only thing it has in common.
Bitch all you want, but the American Dagumi car would be FWD. Specifically this one.
An Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais Quad 442 W41.
Rob is the American protagonist. his father owns a small pizza shop in the Catskills mountains in New York. When his father slips on some ice and breaks his left leg, the nerve damage is so severe that he can no longer drive the Oldsmobile delivery car to keep the business afloat. Unknown to Rob though, the Oldsmobile is a decommissioned SCCA race car from his father's youth converted back into a road car. While on a delivery, he manages to outpace a Honda S2000 on the way down the mountain on a delivery run and catches the attention of the local street racers.
that one might be good then, as well as the fiat x1/9. maybe the fiat could be like the MR2 equivalent of the series, since midship RWD..
Fucking kill yourself
The answer you're looking for is Fiero
...
>80s chincebox toyota
>great balance and great handling
lol troll harder m8
I was diesel Fiat memeing. Honestly, pic related.
yeah they really werent that great stock
>live rear axle
>noodle chassis
Literally a Japanese Foxbody
What would the European Takumi drive and why would it be this literal memebox?
Name a better RWD underdog.
Pro tip: You can't
Either an SVO or a 5.0 GT.
autism the post
>GT
Nah it'd be an LX. Better looking, more unassuming and shitboxy. Nobody would think this car has the capability to be fast.
Why does american dagumi have to be drag racer in a foxbody? Why can't he be driving a rally car through dirt roads, an off roader in hard terrain, or a guy in a v8 crown vic delivering pizza in downtown LA, SF, NYC, and the suburbs?
You really a have boner for this thing don't you?
I wanted to forget the LX existed.
But don't forget, Takumi's car was an AE86 Sprinter Trueno, the top-tier of that model.
I'm sorry I can't stand how much this looks like a shitty bodykit bought off of Ebay
Cheese grater tail lights are even worse
Cheese grater lights are the shit.
wartburg>trabant
pigfat
FUND IT
>foxbody
>light
>Cletus D Burger
nah m80
Hivemind
80's Escort hatchback
It's so weirdly disproportionate. It looks like a matchbox car.
...
Literally the only difference is a bodykit.
hey
Probably a foxbody since they are crap without modifications.
Fix your doori
70's:Ford Pinto
80's: Dodge Fiero
90's: Eagle Summit
00's:Chevy Cobalt
Now: Ford Focus
>not knowing about ford crapsmanship
Foxbodies are the American equivalent of the Silvia/240sx.
Don't insult Silvias like that, they're not even close.
The one in my garage has both doors sitting right, he's fucked something up.
Culturally speaking at least. The prevalence of those things in Initial D is about the same as the prevelance of mustangs in America.
THE MEMES
THEY HAVE OVERWHELMED ME
LET ME DIE
australian dagumi would be called yazza and would drive a XE falcon automatic
Initial Cooee
...
Chevy Nova twin cam
It's American, it's a Corolla it's a 4AG
Delivers burgers and has drive thru tray slide battles. "Tonight we're going to Chipotle pass to defeat tortilla racing school"

No it be 351 Clevo XE Fairmont ESP and his mate would end up with 302 Clevo XE.
If it was Holden it be a VK Group A and buddy end up with 253 VH. Or something along that sort of line.
Holy shit its obviously this.
>Dad hates bbq but is a madman with a smoker
>Cletus makes the deliveries
>Cant be too rough or the ribs and brisket will fall apart in the tray
>Dad puts an open can of budweiser in the cup holder to make Cletus drive smooth
>After Cletus blows up the turbo 4 Dad drops a crate V8 in it
mfw I'm a frenchfag owning a 1/9
can of VB in the drink holder, with his dad bazza chucking in a blower and cop chip on the sly into it
his dad drives a gemini and fangs winnie blues
Western Russian Initial D would be BMW.
If fwd is allowed a cobalt ss turbo or srt-4 neon .V8 foxbody with stock power but modified to be competitive on the tougay. But apparently iroc-z arent so bad so they could ve a choice.
>American Itsuki would buy a V6 by mistake
>Moist and meaty
That got me triggered as fuck...
>iroc-z
>aestheticc
I think there are 4WD Pandas. Not 100% sure.
>it'd be a marvel to keep that interesting
F&F did it when there were drag races. Just have people keep shifting up and inching further than the other car.
