Uninstall all RTP and install the JAPANESE RTP again. Seems like you have a RTP conflict by having 2 different types installed.

Looks like it is related to files being writeable but I am running it as admin and the directory is not read-only. Tried using compatibility mode with different windows versions but no dice.

Tried that, it is not wolfrpg.
Managed to fix it though. Weird error too. The way the torrent client saved it, the game folder was nested in a folder with the same name so it looked like gamename/gamename. When I moved all the files into the top folder it worked.

So I tried adding to translated UI to 封呪姫 and it keeps breaking the game or not working properly. I tried going to a previous thread to find a link for a prepackaged link but the mega expired.

The game does indeed have indications of what battles have game over rape or not. Every battle with game over rape has a notifier that clearly states that something "terrible" will happen if you lose. Terrible being code for rape. And all the enemies capable of raping you in the middle of battle have little heart icons in the corner.
As a porn game it is indeed mediocre though. Hence "porn disregarded". Not that the porn in the game is bad or anything, a ton of he scenes are highly delicious, it's overall just not handled / balanced all that well with the rest of the game. But as a standalone RPG I'd argue it's quite the different story.

I don't really feel like I ever needed to "grind". I just did quest after quest. If you do all the side quests before main quest trials, and don't skip out on optional bosses and stuff, you should quite frankly stay overlevelled even without any grind. Though I do admit that it's occasionally optimal to go relatively long stretches without porn unless you go out of your way to seek the porn events. At certain points in the game where such content may be a bit unbalanced. Which may feel counter intuitive if one goes into the game with porn first and foremost on their mind, which one very well might considering it being eroge. Likewise though, the game has some pretty amazing almost fully porn focused chapters/branches too though, like Coldia's mega prison island. Which not only rich with great and varied kinds of porn, but pretty much turns into its own entire little game within the game. Loved it.
But I never felt like I needed to grind. I 100%d the game in 22 hours of playtime.

Does anyone recall a running man game with a retro theme? You had to chase after three characters, one being a catgirl and another being Roll from the megaman series. There were powerups and tripping over things like turtles. It was like running and had a number like 99 or 100 next to the title, I cannot recall.
