Pretty sure you sacrifice damage to get the poison effect, and it looks like a real fast ult too. It's a strategic ult that you use as part of a longterm plan, not a big dick damage finisher move.

Poison doesn't scale in damage based on move. Poison is scaled according to the engine. Poison applied by innocence bullet is no different than poison applied by Secret Poison. It's a shitty ultimate.

It's probably infinitely more easy to hit than innocent bullet though. It's not like it's a 500 or even 400 ki ult, I'd say the effects/damage are fine for a 300 ki ult. You get damage somewhere between a 100 and 200 ki super and get the poison on top of it. It's quite clearly not supposed to be a high damage ult, the move is literally faking a big hit and poisoning them instead.

1,550, which is about in line with a basic super. I forgot that I run with a -5 QQ bang which probably made them weaker for me. Fridge lasers are stupid ridiculous levels of OP, so that's hardly a fair comparison. You are missing the point of the ult anyway, it's a fast and easy way to poison your opponent. If it doesn't fit your playstyle then don't use it, but don't whine and complain. It's 300 ki, it's hardly a scarce resource.

I have 75 in strike supers with a qqbang that had -3. After tying it out a couple times in pvp it seems to charge forward about as far as darkness rush before the first hit. you seem to also have some armor during the kick.

As far as the thought process goes, there isn't much of one believe it or not. I mostly go by appearance quirks, or fighting style if I've fought you a bunch of times. I'm usually listening to music when I fight other folks so sometimes it just clunks into place right off.

see but you should also keep in mind that if you're getting your ass beat by the enemy AI that you should unlock from them. That puts your allied AI into max aggression. They'll almost always hit the enemy and break you out of the enemy's combo

I'm not sure if the poisen is broken in training, but it's still going and I can't upload it to Twitter cause the duration is too long. The poisen isn't really fast, or much of a game changer. If you're opponent was in the red, and you used it, they'd die first to your basic attacks before the poisen did anything, or a time limit.
I haven't tested Impulse in PvP yet, will do tonight

Poison also has a psychological impact, if they see that their health is ticking down, even if it's not significant, they're more likely to get impatient and make rash decisions. Poisoning and then going on the defensive works wonders.

It's really busted. SSB Kaiokenx10 Goku can do 6600 damage with a single combo while it doesn't drain his stamina and gives him infinite vanishes. All you can do against it is run away and stall, and even that is hard because he can just spam burst dashes.
