American Coupes

Why are there so few american coupes?
Aside from muscle cars,
Ford doesn't make one
Lincoln doesn't make one
Chrysler doesn't make one
Dodge doesn't make one
Buick doesn't make one
Jeep doesn't make one
GMC doesn't make one
Chevy doesn't make one
Tesla doesn't make one
Cadillac does make one
Whats the deal?

Why are there so few european seven-seat suvs?
Aside from the Merc GL/S,
BMW doesn't make one
Porsche doesn't make one
VW doesn't make one
Peugeot doesn't make one
Lamborghini doesn't make one
Ferrari doesn't make one
Rolls Royce doesn't make one
What's the deal?

Ford has the fiesta st coupe

Are you trying to say that coupes aren't common historically in america, like seven-seat suvs aren't in Europe?
In 1971 Chrsler had by itself 3 coupes

oh yeah if forgot about that one. But still, two options?

>cts coupe

I wish the new RS was a coupe, old one looked beast.

I like the older ones better, but still not gorgeous

BMW X5 has third row seating
VW Atlas
Audi Q7
Volvo XC90
Land Rover LR4

\Two of those are the same vehicle.

>Rear fog light and reverse light on either side

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

That's an ATS not a CTS.

they're ugly

>Why are there so few american coupes?

Average American is too fat to fit in a small 2 seater

>Why are there so few american coupes?

americans are too fat to get in the back seat of a coupe

It's a hatchback you dumb cunt, not a coupe.

>Why are there so few american coupes?
Because they are pointless.
>But muh chassis stiffness
>Muh weight
Then buy a sports car
>I can only afford to have one car
Then become an american

Peugeot has a rebadged outlander.

You could have literally summed that up as
>Ford, Chrysler, GM and Tesla don't make any coupes

>mfw 60% of the maker you listed as american are italian, just like your Rayban and Oakley.

>Jeep doesn't make coupes
Maybe because it's a UTILITY VEHICLE brand

>tfw no 2 door rust free 4.0 XJ

...

I've never met a 2 door car I didn't hate. Back seats are almost always for amputees. I'll take my 4 door STS thank you.

They used too

Ford had the thunderbird and the cougar,
GM had the monte carlo, grand prix, deville
Chyrsler had the sebring
The 2 door coupe is just dead america, Most people looking for a sporty 2 door rather just get mustang or camaro

>TFW no 4.0 MJ

>Aside from muscle cars

That's such an arbitrary criteria that it negate the point that you're trying to make. It's like saying "Besides a few supercars and sportscars, European manufacturers don't make coupes" Even more ridiculous is that you fully expected long-time makers of trucks and SUVs GMC and Jeep to start making coupes. Might as well ask Aston-Martin and Ferrari to design pickups for you. Furthermore, many of the brands you listed fall under the same corporate umbrella so having the two sister brands competing in the same segment is frowned upon these days because cannibalization of sales one of the reasons that led to the collapse of the American auto industry about a decade ago.

Camaro, mustang, challenger, corvette
Boy that was tough.
Yeah that's like thinking long time sports car manufacturer would make a SUV.
Jeep could come out with a new Jeepster dealio
