Other than that, still mechanically bulletproof.

daly: [pic related]. 1997 rav4, bent subframe but drives fine. 177xxx km. works great but… when you put it in full lock and gun the shit out of it on a rainy day, it just turns, no fun.

2001 Dodge Dakota
105k miles
Needs tires, CEL is on (oxygen sensor I believe), brakes squeal, and the paint is pretty oxidized.

Got a Jaguar Xjr6 from 95. Only one thing does not work. Its the small LCD clock in the dash that does not display the whole numbers. Otherwise not a single thing broken

>CAT has a hole in it, no emissions in my state but it makes the exhaust a bit louder

Look at this piece of shit and tell me this was a good ideal, Ford """Engineers"""

Add more turbo

>91 Soarer
>317,000kms
>Internal wastegates on the turbo and a full exhaust system means it spools to 17psi
>This makes it hit fuel cut (14.5psi, up to 16.5psi with a fuel cut defencer) and snarl, almost pops flames
>Because the ECU is trying to compensate, it dumps fuel whenever you back off enough to drip out of the exhaust
>It also doesn't inject extra fuel until 5-6psi meaning on partial throttle it's lean
>All these add up to 10mpg around town with $5.85/gal fuel
>Interior rattles
>Drivers seat foam is gone in places, meaning you sit on metal
>Door trim is completely destroyed, mirror controls don't work, window controls fall into the door trim constantly
>Drivers door speaker not there, fading front/rear in the headunit controls the sub for some reason
>Scratches and scrapes everywhere
>Drivers side mirror cracked
>Boot missing paint
>Shit under clearcoat on the bonnet
>Rear glass is scratched
>Heater doesn't get hot, air-con works but saps so much power it uses another .5L/100km
>Temperatures under the bonnet get so high it's melted some insulation
>Something in the rear suspension rattles, a pulley is fucked and rattles
>Rear dump pipe is loose, rattles
>Gearbox is built as fuck so it smacks into gears like a flatshift when you're just trying to drive like a normal person
>Diff locks when it feels like it so you better like surprise skidz

>exhaust might needs to be replaced within the next 1-2 years
Nothing else though, because I take care of my car (meaning, I bring it to the shop and be like "fix everything, no matter what it costs").

It's my shitbox. I own no shittier car. And since when does age have anything to do with shitbox status? By that metric my Grand National, 30 years old by manufacture date, is way shittier.

2004 Hyundai Sonata V6, auto transmission
91.1k miles
>Tires are basically smooth rubber, just in time for Winter

>Right side mirror is cracked on the shell, only cosmetic damage tho

95' E36 325i 4 door
21 years old almost 22

rust visible on front fender
underbody rust questionable but most likely there because road salt
clear coat peel on fender
cracked front bumper probably from doing a rail road jump
autotragic
no cold a/c
cracked interior panels
ashtray wont close
engine sounds like vtec though shit is stock
abs and traction warning light always on
slow to heat up
cabin filter most likely original
brakes pads most likely need to be replaced
no radio because radio code stopped working
missing plastic trim on one door
possible cracked rear subframe
power steering fluid leak
side mirrors with unremovable brown stain in glass
ball joints still original so bitch squeaks
15mpg average because shite 90's auto transmission and weight. Drinks fuel like a tacoma
fogged headlight
steering is slightly off

Bretty sick, m8. Is the HICAS welded?

>trans still good
>fucking creaks and moans all over the fucking place in the front suspension
>issue with the brakes where traveling down the road at 65+ can cause the brakes to squeal LOUDLY, but it disappears if you turn the wheel or hit the brakes

I have done the brake check to remove any possible glazing, but the shit still remains, im thinking the caliper is acting up and sometimes doesn't release enough and just enough of the pad is contacting the rotor to cause the squeal

itt poorfags that wont spend a little time or money to fix mostly simple issues.
I bought an 04 focus semi shitbox. needed tires, struts, brakes, and a thermostat. big deal, now it runs like a top

2012 honda civic
