Cool parent cars

cool cars that your parents own/owned - ill start: my mom bought (new) a 1995 Celica and ended up getting her first speeding ticket in it

also from op - dad had a 1996 SL600 V12 until last year when he did a trade in, but damn that thing was fun

My dad took me home from the hospital delivery room in a 94

Say what you want about the 5S-FE but that car looked sweet and got like 31~ mpg. It also inherits that same sorta driver-oriented cockpit the supra perfected. neat ride

My mom drove a 81 280ZX 5spd for like 15 years.

I remember mistaking Porsches for Datsuns till i was 8 years old

Dad had a Bronco II 5spd and a pos project car C3 corvette thats mine now.

My mom had a Firebird. She traded it in for something safer when my sister was born.

Granddad had an audi quattro back in the day.
Dad had a v10 touareg.
Mom handed me down an gen2 rav4, which is quite neat especially if you take it to the snow and take over BMW's, mr2's and such.

my dad had a '75 Le Mans

thats about as cool as it got : (

Ma and Pa had one of these, or at least it looked very similar.

It had gold badges, so it must have been a special kind? Im not really sure. I would appreciate any information on it.

My dad accidentally locked his keys inside it, had to smash a window to get them.
a week after that it ended up getting stolen, wrapped around a tree and set on fire.

>2012 Dodge Caravan

With the automatic doors and everything, we still have it and that thing's a beast, I love blasting on it when I'm home on breaks

forgot pic lol

Dad has an Acura Legend from like 92 and he took it to the junk yard after the transmission failed at like 250,000 miles. Sweet ride, smooth and comfy.

My dad has had two different '74 roadrunners.

My dad had a Dodge Stealth.
He kept both keys on one ring, the bastard.

Dad owned:

1984 Mustang

1990 Integra RS

1994 Supra TT [HideThis]automatic[/HideThis]

1999 Celica GT-S

2000 Corvette

2015 Corvette

In 1998, My brother and his wife totalled my mothers Ford Escort wagon. Well, I was around 8 at the time so she didn't need to worry about a car seat any more, and we had a Ford Ranger pickup truck for our camping gear. so my mom went and picked up a used 1 owner 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 with only 12,000 miles on it.
At the time, the car was cool and fast, and the aerodynamic body shape was winning Nascar races left and right.

I had to dig through my old cardomain page to get a pic since I lost the ones I took on my old laptop.

Dad had an 84 Supra. Too bad it was automatic.

Gold badges were not special, they were a cheap option for the classless

My dad had a 57 Chevy Bel Air before I was born. When I was a kid he had a Dodge Demon. Some of Veeky Forums seems to like the 85 200SX he had. My parents were pretty practical for the most part so there wasn't a lot of cool cars from them growing up. My dad always wanted a Corvette, but he never got one.

Dad's first car was a 1979 Toyota Celica. His sisters first car was a first gen Honda Prelude. My grandpa owned a shop/snowmobile dealership in small town Ontario, so he had tons of cool cars coming and going back in the day, from what my dad has told me. They were one of the first adopters of Japanese cars where they lived. I wish I had pics of the cars my dad had growing up.

His favourite car though, was a 1965 (I think) Ford Galaxie convertible. He's told me countless stories that involve him cruising roofless in that old barge.

Mom bought one with alamony money. Pretty great watching my little bro squeeze into the back everytime.

My mom had a foxbody, don't remember what engine, but it wasn't a 5.0. Best friends dad bought it later on after it was totalled and used it for parts for his foxbody drag car.

Back in the day there were guys who made a business out of doing aftermarket pinstripe, dipping badges gold, selling hubcaps, chrome fender guards, and other tacky shit to the used car lots to make the cars more marketable.

>I remember being 5 and one of the lot guys dipped a quarter in gold for me.

It was likely the 2.3L 4 banger then. Late model foxes were either 4 cylinder or 5.0 before they fox was retooled into the SN95.

Your mom's a grade A cunt.

God I love 6G Celicas. I want one.

>Mom bought one with alamony money.
That's fucking disgusting. She sounds like an awful person.

My old man had a '68 Kensington bus converted to a Motorhome. Except he pulled out the Engine and stuffed in the engine from a 1968 Camaro. And he ran it on Aviation Fuel. Got the 8 ton brick up to 170kmh at one point.

My dad dropped out of high school when he was 16 and got a job at John Deer. Bought himself a brand new 1972 Dodge Challenger with a 440/4speed off the lot when he was 18. Afterwards had a 1973 C10 Cheyenne Super with the 454ci engine, 1978 Corvette 350/TH350, 1986 Oldsmobile 442, 1992 Hummer H1, loaded 2008 Chevrolet Silverado and now he has pre ordered a GMC Sierra Denali.

I wish he kept all of them but he only had the Challenger and Silverado at the moment.

Your mom's a bitch.

For a while my mom flipped cars, she would find great deals, drive em for a while then sell. She had a 560sl, 912, and a sirocco. Unfortunately this was all after I moved out.

Wow the bitter beta bitches knowing nothing of the situation go to immediate chick hate

Back to /r/eddit faglord white knight

>tfw my dad drives a brand new m5
>I'll never go that fast in my shitbox

Fuck

Then please elaborate on why she isn't an asshole? Alamony money is for supporting your family, not spending it on a Porsche.

Sounds like both children enjoyed the car

>same height and basic lines as the 10th Gen Civic

Wondered why I liked the new Civics so much. Now I understand.

child support is for supporting the family. Alimony is if one spouse sacrificed their career to support the other. If you help somebody build a career by staying home and taking care of kids and household, that person is entitled to part of that career's profits. Doesn't always work out that way, but that is the theory.

Chances are the career that allows for an alimony payment to buy a 911 was created with a support network.

Both my mother and father had bridgeported RX4 coupes.

Dad also owned a couple Mk2 Ghia Escorts, a Series 3 R31 Skyline silhouette, a first gen Civic and a Valiant Charger.

This looks exactly like my dad's M6, including the gaudy white leather interior. He never really learned how to drive the stick well.

I drove it once. It wasn't really that fast, especially compared to today's cars. My wife's Mini Cooper is just as fast.

Forgot my image. Looked exactly like this but in Brown.

My mom had a cj5 on 40s. No doors no roof of course. She was a preschool teacher.
Only traded it for a foxbody when debris kept hitting my fucking face in the car seat..

>GTI-R Pulsar

My mom registered it as a Grey t-top.
I'm pretty sure her constant AWD launches caused my love for cars.
It's pretty funny having a gear head mom and a dad who knows just regular maintenance.

My mom had a crx when she was younger.

dad owned two m3s,e30 and an e36 back when they were still fresh
grandpa had a 76 trans am and an 02 xjr
aunt has a tts,not sure what year
