I go Q W but i've seen some do W E. I have found use for the wards whne it comes to blocking heroes in during a gank. But other than that i feel like Q W does more damage.

New Techies is so much fun to play holy shit. His new E allows him to become actually valuable during teamfight instead of just standing on the edge, hoping he can throw a mine, and get picked off by a clinkz, his new Q+W combo means that you no longer stay in the same spot for a whole minute to place a stack of mines that a single treant is gonna blow up anyway, so you can place them in unexpected locations, and many over a large area, which gives your team a huge land advantage during team fights if you've been prep'ing the terrain properly. His R is still good, but I only max it after everything else has been maxed. I think it's the first hero whose ultimate is less valuable than every single of his other skills.

I'm not good enough to not place stasis traps along with my mines, and watching that 1.6 second during which they turn around realizing what's gonna happen next as they can see the prox mine but not reach it is worth all the gold in the world.
