As a long time Hog player, what if Roadhog's hook had a very visible 'startup' where he spins the chain around before throwing it kinda like Birdie in SFV? Could be held, but his movement and turn speed is lowered while holding it, and he can't fire/heal during it. Cannot be canceled

It's just an idea, not a concrete thing. I play him a lot, and I definitely feel like, at least at non-high level play, his hook is too good, especially with how the hitbox works with corners

1) stay the fuck away from him
2) if you see him mess up a hook go and punish him for it
3) rinse repeat
4) do not over-extend while trying to do this (unless you're sombra or tracer, and your stuff's not on CD)

If you're in front of a hog and you don't know if he's on cd, you stay safe behind a shield or you strafe more.

No, that would render his hook completely telegraphed an useless. All he needs is a much smaller hitbox so that it takes more skill to properly hook a target.

At the moment, the hook actually registers a hit before the projectile reaches it's target, which is why its so wonky. It's basically a hitscan weapon with the hitbox the size of a projectile. Choices here are to either make the projectile match it's animation or to make the hitbox much much smaller.

Comp is frustrating sometimes.
People pick obviously bad classes for the map and mode, don't want to work together, take dumb routes like the bridge on the china tower and then get all killed by a pharah knockback, don't take out obvious targets like healers and sentries. It's frustrating playing mainly if you're soloQing.

There would be a lot less salt if everyone was putting their heart into the match and we all seen matches that drag on forever and both teams can say a honest "gg", but instead most of a small team/soloQer losses are due the sheer amount of selfish people playing this game.

Yes. Before soldier got overbuffed, Mccree was the go-to DPS. You just need to get better with your aim. I wish the roll had i-frames, but it still has it's uses, like reloading in a firefight or dodging a large attack like Hanza's ult, or just barely getting out of Mei's ult.

It's a weekly "quest", you get all 9 wins each week for 3 free boxes, after the timer runs out you get 9 more wins for 3 more and you do it every week.

How are you guys liking the "Stay as a Team" feature after each match?

Funny thing is the opponents had a D. Va, but she wasn't all that great. Tried dropping a self-destruct on our heads, Rein shielded it and I bubbled myself and our Zenyatta as the others got the fuck out of Dodge when it blew. I chortled.

One problem I tend to have when fighting a D. Va is I'll handily destroy the mech but then Hana ends up killing he with her peashooter while I'm trying to fry her because my bubble's on cooldown and she somehow manages to get a bunch of headshots while running backwards and I'm janking back and forth.
