Takao had a huge number of improvements over Myoko IRL. Armour and gun systems were heavily upgraded - she actually had a much faster sustained RoF due to a semi-auto loader/hoist system that she doesn't get in game ;_;

That's still 6,579 games to Missouri, assuming no premium or flags.

Some of her guns couldn't fire at certain angles or had slower firing rate and she didn't get all of her guns until late-war when everyone figured out that airplanes could actually do some damage.

Surface fleet, just like for Kriegsmarine, was confined to restricted operational areas by allied naval and air superiority.
Italian submarines worked along with german ones for quite some time, and italian aviation was pretty fucking skilled.

Even better: Get a benson. Be your friend smokewhore, spot torps early for him when sonar is down, torp enemy smokewhores and help secure caps.

We don't have submarines in WoWs and Italian aviation was about as naval as German or Russian.

Kriegsmarine at least had one lucky shot and sexy nazi overengineering aura. Italians did literally nothing.

Get the Scharn if you dont have it, it's one of the most fun BBs in the game

Scharn is great. Graf looks more tricky to play but still loads of fun. Depends if you prefer cruiser or BB gameplay I think.

Scharnhorst has smaller guns than Gneisenau, but more of them. Better at murdering cruisers but you'll only get like 5k volleys at best against other BBs.

In fact I think the Graf and the Scharn both have the same guns, but Scharn has more.

Scharnhorst is like a cruiser with stupid amounts of armor. Graf Spee is like a battleship they forgot to put armor and a turret on.
