yes, also european and I know exactly what you mean. it's just that every time I was able to safe some for the license, something happened and I needed the money for something a lot more important (like paying rent or buying food).
I know people too, who're perfectly fine and happy with public transportation, I'm not one of them. I just use them since I don't have much of a choice but I hope I can get my shit together soon.

It is my first car, I have owned it for 4 years now (for as long as I got my licence). It was bought by my grandfather for is own use but as he had Alzheimer my familly and insurance would not let him drive. He died 1 year after and the car sitted still for two year in his garage. When I got my licence I started to use it, as I was the only one to use it my familly gave me its ownership.

I putted 40 k on in during theses last 4 years. I drove all the way through France, Germany, Spain and Belgium.

I had my first (and only for now) car accident in this car, that is why the hood and front bumber are of a different color.

and i've driven one and i know how fun they are when they actually work properly, but IMO they'll always be worth like 2000 euros tops to me, just like 205 GTIs. the whole point of these cars was to be cheap fun. but now you get "muh investment-grade automobile" fags and they're treated like fucking collector items and kep in heated garages and never driven

Classic Renault 5 are easy to find but not that special
Turbos are fairly hard to find and pretty expensive. A shame since it's one of my favorite cars.
