Depends. Once you've played them once, not very long. If it's your first time and you're not very good at them for whatever reason, it's gonna take you a while if you don't use savestates.

Okay, we get it. This happens every thread. Have we not learned that this topic goes nowhere? It's a merry go round that just keeps repeating itself with no conclusion because guess what? We have no influence on the comics besides some namedrop on a soda can. Whether or not it's a better choice for the comic as a whole (and lets not go into it because then the merry go round would start going round and round AGAIN), they aren't going to reboot the comics entirely to be strictly game-focused. They've already done enough reboots for now.
I'm not trying to take a side here, but come the fuck on. Can't we find anything else to talk about? Yes we all have unpopular opinions, but surely we're self aware of our autism enough to have some self control over said unpopular opinions.
Ian would be fine if we didn't have mandated crossovers, mandated nostalgia pandering, hiatuses and compressed pacing on top of having to deal with a hard reboot. The only time in his pre-reboot run that was this retarded from a behind-the-scenes aspect was when they had to interrupt everything for a 4-part nostalgia pandering arc five years ago.

And since they're Sega characters, the comics have to write them the same way as they are in the games, which is shitty, boring and annoying. OCs are the only reason why the comic is even still around, because the writers can do whatever they want with them.
