We buy gas medium duty trucks for our fleet because the nature of our routes and usage is such that the fuel economy penalty isn't as great as the cost of maintenance benefit.

If you are driving mostly city miles and short trips, the gasser will cost much less to operate over the life of the truck.

And since NO ONE wants to buy them dealerships wont take them as trade-ins for a good enough price for the owners to pay them off.
