Remember to always ALWAYS use ORIGINAL hardware and ONLY ORIGINAL hardware. Playing on UNOFFICIAL emulators or other UNOFFICIAL software or hardware without the ORIGINAL developer's approval goes completely against the spirit of speedrunning!

The real reason why emulators are banned is because it's too easy to cheat on them. This is also why console runs that include anything other than game capture (microphone commentary, donation alerts, &c.) should be banned.
