I'm not so sure I agree with this. The last two 5-0s I did (blood, rune) both had 6 2 drops, which I wouldn't be consider much.

Perhaps I should add curve details to my t2 statistics to see how big a role it plays.

Imp Lancer and other burn cards are plenty as finisher. You need as much of a good start as possible while not having to rely on the awful class mechanic, Dark General just bricks your hand.

How do you deal with not drawing any early drops while the opponent gets a board full of them? It's an autoloss when I go up against this.

You never want to play DG on curve, it's just terrible.

The only reason why it works in my deck is because Lykos and Razor Claws/Blood pacts put me in vengeance very quickly

You take the loss, unless you happen to have good comeback mechanisms (one of the OP 2-for-1 4 drops or something like that). You can't win every game.

If you draft too fast, there's a chance that your opponent will get as good a curve despite his slower deck, and you run out of steam. If you draft too slow, there's a higher chance that you don't draw shit in the early game and get swarmed. It's all about balance, and it should come to you naturally after you've played enough, as long as you pay attention to how you're generally losing. I've always been a fairly value minded person, but it got me decent results in HS (easy infinite runs), and it seems to be doing me fine in shadowverse. There are times when I get swarmed and lose, but there are also times when I outvalue the opponent despite him playing olivia, which feels pretty good.

I played seraph elana to AA, and lose more to aggro that start first than those who start second. If they start first with a good hand and keep going face you really can't do anything.
