Since too many people were at gold/plat in s2 (there was a peak with over 60% of all players within 300 rating of eachother) they decided to "even it out" by dropping everyone worse than average even further below, and people better than that got their rating boosted.

Personally I ended s2 at 2900 and after 9 lost placements it put me back at 2800

2. Bastion is underpowered, countered by Lucio and doesn't work with Lucio.

More globally, 23 heroes should give us answers to problems but when some are OP and some are UP, you are drastically lowering the complexity of your game and thus the ability to find answers.

You could climb out in duo queue, if you do something like ana/zen + road/winston you should tear through retards that keep playing squishy dpsers and overextend/rush in solo as soon as they respawn

I forgot I had this game. I want to play comp but I have never played comp. Only quick play.

What's the best way to ensure I don't piss my team off when I start getting into it? I don't know metas or team comps or callouts, and I don't really know how to learn those either without playing comp.
