Just figure out how to do his blink+poof combo in an an empty lobby. The rest is straight up micro (like stacking with another unit, which you might be familiar with if you played HotD carries last patch) or earth bind skill shots, neither of which you will learn without just playing anyway. If you can farm stacks and do blink poof you'll be fine(ish).

Treant is a REALLY strong hitter early game and an excellent roamer, but falls off later and is NOT a carry. 2-3-0-1 starting items: tango, orb of venom, 1 ward. Either courier or another tango Get arcane boots and mana talent at lvl 10, you're going to need them more than attack speed. Spend the early game ganking motherfuckers. Roam enemy jungle if they have a jungler. Skill build: 3-4-1-1 (value point armor) After arcane boots, get aghs, then ward their entire jungle. Lvl 15 talent: Gold per minute. Lvl 20: Reduced CD. By the endgame, you should have owled their entire side of the river, and use the vision to kill any enemy who leaves their base.
