This is one of the big downsides of open contribution games. Everybody gets scared of stepping on other people's toes, and breaking the spaghetti code that progress grinds to a halt. Without someone enforcing follow through on "I'm going to do X" statements and keeping up the development documents interest gets lost.

I kind of want them to switch to a version control system, but that would require some leadership.

I don't think it will change much to be honest doesn't matter if there is a lead the open nature of the development will just have people come and go even faster if they can't have it their way.

I'd say yes. It's certainly a step above most western h games, and I like how subversive the opening is. though keep in mind that a lot of the H (or all, I don't remember) is text only

I am agonizing over whether I should restart due to imperfect investment without a guide. And new contents.

It was done in RPG maker. I think it counts.

I really enjoy it, good story, good gameplay, some interesting ideas as well (like investing in businesses). I haven't played in a few patches but my last playthrough had 30hrs on it and I didn't even get to the end. It doesn't really have much visually for porn but I don't mind text. I feel like its more like a normal rpg but with porn in it.

I also enjoy the other game they made as well, not really for the story since I barely remember it but the art is pretty decent (that one has actual h-scenes).

Also fucking this, that opening almost had me uninstall it immediately.

The jungle with plant girl has become an almost mandatory quest line.

New graphics and chipsets.

Thousands of lines slightly rewritten.

Does anybody remember a 2d h-game similar to unholy sanctuary wherein you play a shire--maiden type character?
There was a nice world overmap a la super mario world, and I remember the optional ending boss was a big robot thing I couldn't beat for the life of me.
I also remember gaining new spells / sword abilities as the game progressed, though the animations for each were not always 100%.

If you check the status screen on Rune, it'll say who she lost it to. Go test it for us and tell us what happens. If it doesn't say, which should be on the bottom right, you should be good.

Most of the prologue choices are for flavor only anyway so you can choose randomly if you really want to. I still recommend to read everything though, it's interesting
