Oh man I have some #rare pics of notamiata's s2gay. Don't tell his gf tho

Do all Civics made after '88 have all independent suspension?

What would you rate his gf?

>1987 Honda Civic Si
>133k miles
>$2100

...

who is this ugly whore and why is she always posted here

Get that fucking shitbox out of here, i'm posting a real car.

Yes

Mannnn one of the gaskets blew the fuck up in my exhaust already.

It's hard to see but it's right there in the center.

Wew that's clean

>fwd 5 door glorified eco car
Kys

Was it brand new?

Yeah came with the exhaust out of the box. Was wondering why most of the noises were coming from under my feet and not the back.

damn she is average

the jew nose and drooping bone structure of her cheeks and jaws just ruins it

How do you know?

It's no veloster turbo that thing is a beast, but it's probably better then the bus you ride. 155 HP and 150ftlbs of torque, think you could handle it?

I looked it up.
>In 1987, the Honda Civic was significantly redesigned for model year 1988. The suspension had a radical re-configuration with what Honda called "double-wishbone suspension" on all four corners, wheelbase was increased to 98.4 inches (250 cm), and the body was redesigned with a lower hood line and more glass, giving less drag. Rear suspension however is more accurately described as multi-link trailing arm suspension since the upper control arm only has a single anchor and there is toe control used on the main trailing arm.

I read that too. Now where does it list the suspension design for all years?

Kek
I'll bite. I dd an EG8 and have a mk3 supra turbo fire me irl faggot

Lol IDK.I found that info on Wikipedia. I know that the rest are independent since I've seen them in person as a Honda Tech

Guys for some reason engine died on highway
Im not saying, its bird curse, but it probably is. Story or nah?

>Story or nah?

Took a better look under there and some of the bolts just straight up fell out. Advance Auto has a replacement gasket so I'll pick one up plus some new bolts and nuts. It's still leaking a bit at the header to downpipe flange, though. The new exhaust manifold gasket works great.

Right now the car sounds like my old exhaust, except under my feet instead of out the back.

>2k
why are hondas over priced

>clean
it has a fuck huge dent, faded peeling paint with no clear coat, ruined pastics..

>hondafags

>why are hondas over priced

because the engine runs

Story
do it pussy ass nigga

>over priced
What are you talking about.

also that is probably just the asking price. Im sure if you offered $1500 youd be able to buy it.

Clean is a relative term. It's pretty clean for an 87 civic.

>she

the fuck is going on in here? This is my gf, not that possible trap.

>furry
she's not.

fuck you brayn, hope you get doxed faggot lol.

I had this happen to my Prelude once a long while back. Never found out why, and it never happened again.

she looks ok 7/10, being nice here
Though her face looks kinda old there

>posting a car that doesn't (well)

Pretty fuckin ugly senpai

I didn't have a crash bar so I got one from my buddy's parts car. Next up is the gasket and seeing if washer fluid will fit.

Forgot image. Fug

Gasket done and it sounds perfect now. Officially done fucking with exhaust until I buy a header. Gonna put that off for a while, though. The crash bar makes my bumper fit better too.

Looks alright.
Wish I didnt have so much slush, I could barely change my tires.

>implying it'll help from getting ear ended by a texting and driving driver

Good work comrade

Damn that's pretty clean

Now she's a hottie, wow

You don't want to see my tires. I need some super bad. Might just get the cheapest Wal-Mart has to offer.

It's only a matter of time until one of those cunts destroys my hopes and dreams.

Thanks m8. My starter motor is louder than my idle now which is crazy.

I'm looking for a decent headlight and taillight upgrade for my EG hatch.
Any good options?

all seasons fukin killed it on the drive home.

even running the same ride height as I did most of the summer I was passing SUVS kek

Should I get my car vinyl wrapped white? Or should I get my hood wrapped in white and the rest of my car polished and waxed

Or should I just save up for a total body paint correction?
Is this paint fixable with a polish and wax? Besides the hood?

hard to tell from that picture but paint looks fine on the rest of the car. maybe could use a buff if there still is clear on it. As far as wrapping etc you might as well just get the hood painted for the money or hit up a junkyard.

I'm a big fan of Denjis. Got a pair on my hatch.

And tail lights from eBay. Looks just like OEM.

This is the paint.
Should I
Wrap
Polish buff and wax
Or correct the paint?
For everything minus the hood

How much did they run you?
Are they noticeably different than OEM?
Am I the only one with issues on closing the glass portion of the tail gate? Takes me like 3 hard slams before it finally clicks and locks in with the lower half

Waste of money. Just take the hood off, prep it, then go get it sprayed.

Wrapping is not for shitboxes.

Cheapest way would be to get yourself some honda touchup paint. cut buff polish as long as clear is still there

Otherwise I'd go for doors on respray of same color. Love that chassis and color so I'm biased

love your car by the way

If I remember it was about $200 shipped with bulbs. Way better than OEM if you don't want to fuck with DIY retrofitting. Retrofitting is pretty expensive.

I had glass issues too but it turns out my tail gate was all cut up from the inside and the latch was dangling. Take off the plastics on the tailgate and see how the hatch looks.

Thanks senpai.
How does the clear coat look?

...

Clear corners and 50/50 tails. If no rust 50/50 LED tails

Meet me in the touge m8
Winter tires mustard race here

clear corners are ultimate rice

I just bought this as my first car.

Did i do good Veeky Forums?

I love it

...

seems pretty dope, so long as you paid a good price for it
hope it treats you well

$1550 Australian so that would be just over $1100 USD.
I think it was a fair price, cheers man

They look so much better than OEM. Helps that they're factory in Japan. Actual Stanley corners are expensive as fuck though for what they are.

Kys

Good job now join the collage see pic related

>t. ricer

Haha will do when i can be fucked
I might chuck a farmers union ice coffee on it, given that it pretty much looks like one, and its uniquely south australian

>tfw chasing a CRX on the way home for thirty seconds

Put a smile on my face.

I hope you guys stayed in the far right lanes. I hate when people don't move over for faster traffic.

Can't tell unless I'm in person but seems okay. I'm not sure but that year and color might be single stage

I see what you did there. Kek

It was on an empty service road. Looked like a stock Si.

>clear corners are rice
>t. Someone who doesn't know shit about Hondas
>wanting to change your headlights and tails
You're a ricer too faggot

>being this mad that you're a ricer and have objectively shit taste

99% of the time no one can keep up with me on the turns

>objective
>taste
Cmon user it's starting to get really hard giving you (You)s

Only had one turn and it was banked so shit gets hectic. I kept up though.

i came here for hondas, not for cringe

I have some 195/65/R14

That's only 19 hours away. I'll see you in a bit. I'm rolling on 15s though. Lel

Thoughts? Pretty clean 1989 Prelude 4WS with 140k miles... $1200

orlando.craigslist.org/cto/5912130355.html

Looks like a nice little find.
Check it out, check out that weird idle, make sure there arent any cracks and that it hasnt been thrashed.

whats your plan for it? Its cheap.

www.amazon.com

A friend needs a daily and this is one of the best I've found in his budget, and I also just really like that car. I think I know how to fix the idle problem if it's truly because it's running rich though, so that should be no big deal.

Be me
>16
>sees 2006 honda accord ex with 260k
>1500 rubles
>buys it
>needs new motor mount and slush box is slush
should i put money into this car?

3rd gens literally always have idle issues, I spent about a week in the summer fixing and replacing things until mine cleared up. Most commonly it's the throttle body, EACV or IACV but it could easily be something else

Ebay

8/10
Buy it at your own risk

>Tfw everything in my engine is fixed except the idle

I don't know man that shit is confusing. It isn't the IACV and I don't have a FITV.

That's a lot of miles. I recommend getting another car unless your current one has a service history.

I'm looking to get another set of wheels for my Accord so I can have winter tires on one set, summer on the other. All seasons suck.

I really like the Accord sport wheels, but at over $300 a piece I might as well consider aftermarket options as well.

I have an Accord coupe. What wheels would look good?

it has a service history and those are mostly highway miles if that makes a difference

Was the Prelude type-SH any good compared to any of the Japan-only models?

bleed coolant
make sure injectors are good
make sure plugs and wires are good

Does your car burn oil? Could be bad rings/scored cylinder causing bad idle
