Wow OP, you know the names of some popular cars, good for you!

fag

>ten cars that changed the automotive industry

Aren't these threads supposed to be opinion-based? i mean.. there are only so many "correct" choices and i can see a shit storm starting once someone picks the "wrong" car or a car they don't think deserves to be in the same sentence as that.

So you agreed with me then?....

most of those did nothing and really aint shit but just another car

Ooh, and you even know how to type three letters! We're so impressed!

Not OP, but let me try to make some arguments for these cars.

Mustang, corvette, beetle and 911 are venerable cars. Definitely important.

Fairlady Z was the first of the cheap japanese everyman sports cars.

Miura popularized the concept of mid-engine supercars.

E-type popularized and some may argue is the perfection of the long hood GT design.

2000GT was iirc the first true japanese sorts car, but it didn't popularize anything and was only made in small quantities.

F40..... eh.... maybe the concept of a street-legal race car?

NSX......proving the Japanese can make a good car from every single class?

I might post my list later but I'm too fucking lazy to think of anything.

>New edge Mach 1 rims on a 1st gen mustang

Agree with all but C2 and 2000GT

VW Beetle: Best-selling car ever, influential in popularizing economy cars
Ford Mustang: Created a new wave of sports cars
Citroen DS: Aerodynamic design, hydropneumatic suspension, disc brakes
Mini: Also influential in popularizing economy cars
Ford Taurus: Popularized curvier cars and thus influenced car design
Tesla Model S: Popularized electric vehicles, auto drive mode is innovative, performance
Chrysler Airflow: Aerodynamic design
Jeep (Grand) Wagoneer: The first luxury SUV
Tucker: Performance predates the introduction of the V-8, that Cyclops headlight, rear engine
Toyota Prius: Popularized hybrids

maybe I just look at things in a different way or something

heres my chart

>hold on let me explain to you for 20 minutes . . .
>BUGATTI

not a single Bugatti on there

>tesla
>changing the industry
how to spot a redditor

Autopilot in the Tesla doesn't actually work as any more than an adaptive cruise control

certainly more changes than plenty of the cars listed so far

if someone doesnt list the corolla shame on you

NSX originated the daily drivable super car. Almost all modern super cars take after that aspect of it.

The Corolla overtook the Beetle in sales years ago.

lol corvette

>first all electic car that is present in public conciousness
>does not matter
still waiting for a great return of wanker engine, huh?

>traction avant

Fucking this.
