More like they get a below average player to playtest it on Deity and balance it around that.

or maybe they're doing the classic trick where they make a DLC faction/civ/character/whatever super OP at first to get more people to buy it at full price.

Mongol Pony Calvary when?

...

We're in wildcard territory now, I think. All we have left from the board before launch to show up is Isabella.

Hello!

Mongol needs all the love they can get.

WAIFUS ARE BACK

>having a fridge as a waifu

>human fallen empire

Haven't seen this before

WE

Wuz

do they own ring world? or still using sol system as homeworld.

...

Neither, just the standard system for a xenophile fallen empire, which is pretty lame. Haven't found Sol yet.

Is Poland the new 'best' civ in VI, the way it was in V?

Poland can only steal tiles within 3 tiles of their cities, and they can't steal finished completed wonders or districts. They can steal/destroy in-progress wonders and districts. It's not as blatantly OP as it may seem.

>Those hips
>But that nose
It's brown bagging time

Shut the fuck up you stupid frog.

Jadwiga a cute.
A CUTE!

In Stellaris how would i make a Space Rome and Space Soviet Union?

For Space USSR ive come down to Militarist/Materialist/Collectivist Military Dictatorship with General Secretary as leader title

For Space Rome i've no idea how to make it other than militarist star empire

How advanced are advanced AI empires in stellaris?

The Fallen Empires expanded mod adds two ham FEs
One Xenophobe type and one Xenophiles type
Each has their own unique version of the sol system
It's set up so they both don't spawn and won't spawn in the same game with the UN and/or Commonwealth preset AI Empires too.

>Adds two human FEs
Fucking phone.

how cute?

I dunno, Cities Skylines and Planet Coaster are still around.

>Space Rome.

Collectivist, Spiritualist, Militarist; Divine Mandate.

Rename your ruler Emperor/Empress.

You might ditch Militarist for another rank in Spiritualist for the decreased Ethic Diversion, but it's probably not needed once you've upgraded to Transcendent Empire and built a Ministry of Benevolence. Militarist prevents wartime unhappiness, gives you a more powerful planetary bombardment, and adds weight to drawing weapons technology.

They start with a few planets, it all.

You'll quickly surpass them so long as you aren't boxed in.

was the Cult of the Emperor so strong as to make Rome spiritualist

your selection seems more in line with like a Space version of Imperial China de gozaimasu

fucking little shits just colonised right next to my border

what

You know what to do
If you dont: EXTERMINATE

Well, you guys tell me.

F. Spiritualist, or Spiritualist and Militarist.

Which is better?

>gozaimasu

Is that a name, or a Japanese phrase?

also why the fuck can I not ask for a system from them in trade? I can transfer my own systems. Fucking diplomacy is still a joke

>Disjunction True
>Spell that dispels overland enchantments
>Suppress Magic
>Overworld enchanment that attempts to dispel every spell cast by enemy wizards

I can't believe that Sectors still can't handle slavery properly.

Is it too difficult to program the thing to avoid enslaving a pop when it's mathematically inefficient? Why would you enslave a scientist, or a generator engineer?

Why would you not enslave a miner, or a farmer?

I'm playing a despotic empire and I've had to outlaw slavery because the sectors are so fucking bad at it.

...

i was about to type tb h, which of course autos into 'desu', so i just typed 'de gozaimasu' instead which is like a more formal version of desu

Oh, hah, okay.

Comical.

Fugg that sounds like some crazy Weapons of Magical Destruction right there.

ah
Chinese memes got it

I'm not fond of these neo-RTS where you're forced into constant skirmishes.

RTS have literally always been about constant skirmishes

You build a base, build up your eco, send raids, fortify your eco, and then send armies to try and destroy the enemy base

You also send builders out to expand to new territories to get unique resources, more resources in general, or new bases to attack from

This gameplay motif fits the description of every RTS known to man, from Company of Heroes to Empire Earth, including Age of Empires, Starcraft, 40k, Supreme Commander and many more that I don't know or can't remember. Exceptions are very few if any

If anything, the RTS genra has probably stalled because no-one has dared to try something novel. Probably a mix of GSG and RTS will be the way forward, but making it is another story

The opposite side, distilling RTS to their base, has failed spectacularly with games like EE3 and AOE3, and probably contributed to taking the whole genra down for nearly a decade

In recent RTS, you're forced into skirmishes. Just compare Company of Heroes or Etherium to Ages of Empires 2.

Every earlygame wants me to play Stellaris so bad, despite knowing how every fucking game turns out, hours of clicking +1 on buildings and waiting truces to expire when I'm strong enough to take on the entire galaxy already alone.

Is the AI fixed in the Civ 6 winter update?

depends

Cutest king ever.

Space Rome would be Fanatical Militarist & Xenophile if you want to emphasise it's integration of the nations/barbarians it conquered.
You can also go Fanatical Militarist & Collectivist if you want to emphasise it's use of slavery.

>5 euro scenario pack
Is this one of the four post-launch DLCs you get for buying Deluxe? If so, absolute lol.

>Sky Father
I'm confused, is that supposed to be Jupiter? Where's Earth?

So I heard /cbg/ attempted to live again last thread but it died?

That's bascially Spess Tang China

FEs always have the same home systems depending on which type they are.
That's not the Sol system. It's the Xenophile FE home system or at least their Capital system depending on how you want to interpret the FEs.

>FEs always have the same home systems
Gay af what happened to Earth, did the Sun get hit by a random GRB billions of years early?

Actually militarist/xenophile/collectivist sound does great for Spess Rome for the reasons you stated

but its real hard for me to choose between xenophile and collectivist in place of Fanatic militarist

hmm

Get Fallen Empires Expanded if you want Sol based Human FEs.
Either way, how Sol spawns in the base game generally happens as one of the following:
You start your Empire there

UN of Earth spawns in game with Sol as the home system

It's a pre-FTL world with Humans

It's a tomb world

It's a tomb world with irradiated Humans

It's a tomb world with roaches

'Queen' that literally just got married to solidify alliance with Hungary and then her husband ruled everything until she died at 27

D I V E R S I T Y

How do you find so many items?

He built them.

How do you do that?
I'm really new to this old game

There's a spell that can creates items.

A Distant Worlds tip : if you're having problem with money, switch to Corporate Nationalism.
It'll probably cripple your economy on the term and switching out of it can be a pain, but you'll drown in dosh.

So is she a loli?

Waifus tho

THICC

>playing Civ for the waifus
Casuals...

I don't play civ

Ugh, no.
Corporate Nationalism is broken, as in it does not work as intended.

What it does is take the civilian bank and give it to the state (aka, you the player), so you will get a fair bit of money. For exactly ONE economy tick.
However.... Since all civilian money is now your money and cannot be used by civilians, your economy will grind to a halt because traders can no longer afford buy resources, or refit ships, or buy fuel.
And all your colonies will be pegged at 100% tax (which you cannot change) which is not nescessarily a problem with a corporate gov., but if you ever change out of it (and you will) it causes all kind of interesting things to happen because happiness will go through the floor.
The longer you stay in a corporate gov. the worse your economy gets, and the worse the effects of changing out of it become.

It is a giant headache that is entirely the opposite of fun or useful.
Avoid.

If they needed to build the Death Star, why couldn't they use droids instead?

But she was a king.

Does anyone know if there's any Broken Lords concept art around? Google doesn't show much more than the big wallpaper pictures.

...civ not "casual"
civ is literally babbys first 4x.
I mean shit complain about sjw if you want, but donĀ“t pretend civ is some deep shit.

>she
>king

Jadwiga was crowned the King of Poland. It's a historical fact.

literally one of the only remaining reasons to play this boring as shit piss easy game.
Even the streamers are dropping this pos

It's a King (girl), famalam.

The death star was more than just a tool of terror and the ultimate weapon to destroy the rebel alliance. It was a major economic project that provided jobs to billions of construction workers, pilots, logistics specialists, etc. Imagine it as the Hoover Dam or Empire State Building times a billion.

Streamers never play a game for more than two months. Just check TotalBiscuit's records on Youtube, that faggot only plays games for 1 hour before making a review about it, and then he drops them.

But in that scene, they refer to the building itself (since they reused the plans of the original Death Star, and only tweaked them a bit to problem the vent), so if it's just a matter of construction, why not use droids?

Because the Empire isn't one big space communist state, it functions as an extremely capitalist system, and the death star represented a shitton of additional employment.

Given it's a secret military project, I doubt that calling contractors is a good idea to build a weapon. Or even anything military at all.

not him but for an autocracy you could just tell them that in order to take the contract they have to live on-site for as long as it takes to build to avoid leaks

the Imperial Japanese did some whacky shit to hide their giant-ass battleships they were building and they hid it so well the US had no idea of its specifics even when it was commissioned

Yeah, but the Imperial Japanese weren't fighting rebels specialized in gorilla warfare and intelligence. I imagine it's easier to corrupt an imperial than a Japanese.

I meant people like FilthyRobot or BabaYetu, they live off playing civ and now FilthyRobot prefers to play Darkest Dungeon and BabaYetu got back to Civ V.

Because they have shit tastes.

>Streamers never play a game for more than two months. Just check TotalBiscuit's records on Youtube, that faggot only plays games for 1 hour before making a review about it, and then he drops them.
He already made a video for faggots like you youtube.com/watch?v=RXe7Sn2LP-8. But I guess you have very short attention span for a 40 minutes video, seeing as civ6 is your babby first 4x.
>taste
>in context of civ6

>streamers never play a game for more than 2 months

Wait a damn minute

I need to colonize a world with pre-sentients to uplift them
I cant colonize the worlds if the pre-sentients are outside my climate sphere

So i cant fucking uplift pre-sentients in order to cover planets that i cant cover natively? am i supposed to terraform all the damn worlds instead??

what is this, /hsg/?

So Aurora 2 is basically C# Aurora or is it entirely different project?
