Why would anyone buy this over a Stingray Grand Sport?

It's amazing how fucking terrible the M4 GTS turned out. It's a massive disappointment in every measure.
It costs as much as a fucking 911 GT3 RS, more than an AMG GTS. More than a top-spec GT-R, much more than a Z07 package Corvette.
And yet it loses to just about all of them.

Autoblog also claimed the LT4 was better in the zl1 than the z06

I noticed the camaro LT4 is a wet sump, compared to the dry sump LT4 in the corvette.

And tb h, GM probably saw the problems in the corvette and fixed them for the camaro.

how is that bench racing? they achieved a better 0-60 through a good mean. shorter gearing would mean more shifts required and in a 650/650 rwd car that would prove absolutely brutal to achieve without extra accessories

It's crazy how much of a difference the color makes. The ZL1 in Nightfall Grey with black wheels is one of the most aesthetically pleasing cars I've seen. Other colors, not so much.

More gears aren't inherently better. Hell they put 9 gear trannies in dinky fiat 500's because they produce so LITTLE power and torque they need the super short gears just to get enough torque to operate or climb a hill
