if they had made one of the pre-2015 festives "festivizable", it'd probably work like that.

this year's festivizer only goes on the weapons they listed in the patch notes and the tough break/gun mettle skins. also, once a weapon is defined as "festivized", you can no longer add a festivizer to it (no stacking 2015 and 2016 festivizers)

so no festive festive black boxes, unfortunately.

Actually on second thought , a pyro whose flamethrower hits with every particle is a scary thought

friend of mine had it happen to him

not sure if it still goes, but if you add one of the paints you get from the stocking to your hat, it disappears as if its not equipped. happened for about 30 minutes after the update came out. don't think its still an issue, and affected items seem to work again.
