Cars under $1500 that's not the miata?
Civic coupe
half of a 3k civic
what style car do you like? 80's boxy? 90's bubbly/curvy? 2000's soap bar? 2010's ANGRY SOAP BAR?

Ford Probe
4th gen Slowstang
Barely working MR2
Saturn Ion
BaSically, anything from late 80s toearly 90s. It was common for most base models to feature a manual transmission at that point because automatics still sucked. You'd probably be best off saving more money and looking for something newer since all of those cars will have potentially expensive issues.
>go to local ads
>search>car $1500 and under
result will dictate your options of which you won't have many.
can you even get a 2010s car on that budget
how about a white 05 rsx base auto with 120k miles and salvage title
some cars have styling that ends up being used in other decades, generalizing to find out what user liked.
Saturn's and civics forever.
V6 camaro
V6 Mustang
90's bubbly
That's a terrible idea
Was gonna make it $1000 but figured I'd add the extra 500 and didn't have time to change pic
80's celica, rwd, 2.4L 22r engine. Hmmmmmm
Get a late 90s Saturn sl1. Only get the manual, auto was terrible. I drive a '99 as my beater and still pull down 39mpg on my 20min commute.
The body panels stay looking good and the seat fits my ass just right.
oh god 90's/early 2000s Saturn automatics were some of the worst I've ever driven
90s Celicas are superior in every way and much better as dailies.
>inb4 m-muh RWD
No.
Ford Focus MK1
Get it together m8
4th gen Tercel
>>Has to be manual
>>Has to look decent
jack shit about running though, you can find a lot of nice looking vehicles with blown engines
As much as everyone loves it, the 22R is not a great engine.
You'll need to replace the timing chain right away, along with the timing chain guides and the timing cover.
Unless it's a 22R-E the carb is going to be a B I T C H to work with.
That's why 90s Celicas are better, especially 3SGE ones.

First off, where ya from?
I know a guy selling a Mazda 626 for 500 OP
You can get 3rd gen (rwd) celica or a fourth gen (fwd) for about 1k depending on condition. This is manual, of course.

Only correct answer is E100 Corolla
Paseo can be found for a similar price. Has a lil bit better suspension than the tercel.
And the DOHC 5E-FE engine, rather than the 12 valve 3E-E
Cheap to fix, easy to fix with simple tools,
Easy to get parts.... it's a truck engine.
Underrated post
good choice boot faggot
Well, Toyotas in general have good support here in Estados Unidos, both aftermarket and dealer.
Want to put a Weber carb on? Not a problem.
Want to do a dual-row timing chain conversion? Shipped to your door!
Want to keep the single-row chain but upgrade to steel guides? You should do that. No, seriously, it's the achilles heel of the 22R.
They're basically Japanese Chevy. You can find parts down at the local Circle K.
>He doesn't realize how good boots are for driving
Volvo 850, or if you want something RWD and a little more boxy, then the Volvo 960.
