mmr, much like any other moba's leagues, tiers or whatever they use, means jack shit

MMR is literally a win-loss counter after a few hundred hours of playing ranked. Calibration requires money and there are no seasons or regular resets, so the predictive power of MMR has long since decayed.

Ironic since the only reason games take so long is the memeback rubberband mechanics they added to casualize it to begin with.

If you want games to end faster, then fucking make it possible for people to push highground before 40 minutes.

You look at the big changes and think "yea this should reduce game times by LOADS" but then explain shrines. Got harder to gank mid or push out the suicide lane, and most importantly, uphill defense got boosted the fuck up in this patch, making everyone in a pub game to be at least 3/4 slotted to actually win the fucking thing.
Everyone thought that because of the changes that the game would get faster, but icefruads intent imo was to keep the game length the same. Just some bad numbers made them a bit harder. Wait for shrines to get patched and everything returns back to the average its always been.
