Bingo! You fully understand Internet Marketing, if you don't have your own product to sell.
Zachary Taylor
how can I get my own product to sell?

So is it all bullshit? making money doing online marketing?
Asher Martinez
Unless you have something of your own to sell, yes.
Ayden Evans
Not true.
If you sell affiliate content you still earn money, you're just helping someone else earn money too. So you're not taking full profit but you can still earn a lot.
Amazon affiliate is a great option but it takes a lot of work to fully understand.
Nathan Gutierrez
Create something of value people want to buy, Then use the power of affiliate marketing to get people to sell it for you for a commission. If you don't know what to make, mimic what is successfully selling. How do you do that, though? Research. Here's 1 link to get you started. It's the best selling products this week on Clickbank Most of them are polished ebooks or video courses. cbengine.com/popular-clickbank-products.cfm
If you're new, with no exp, don't start with creating your own product. It's harder to win. Take the time it takes to create something-- you can launch 50 affiliate marketing campaigns in the same time.
Jose King
>the whole thing seems like a pyramid scheme. Maybe you don't understand how it works. Try this example. I made a dating website. I can only promote it so much on my own, so I want people to promote it for me. Those people are called affiliates. Nobody works for free, so I have to pay them based on their performance. They will earn a commission for each person who signs up.
You're selling someone elses product acting like it's your own. You get to bypass the whole step of creating something and skip right to the selling. Since you didn't create it, the creator gives you a %commission for each sale.
This is basically the first layer out of 100,000,000 that is affiliate marketing.
Leo Reyes
>The only reliable stuff I have found so far is amazon affiliate marketing and online self publishing books through amazon. They're reliable because amazon is a name you're familiar with. Everyone knows amazon and what they do. Most places that sell anything online have an affiliate program. etsy, ebay, shopify, and aliexpress to name a few. It just makes sense to have one if you sell anything.
Try these on for size Peerfly, Clickbank, CommissionJunction, Crakrevenue. Most of them are fit for beginners and have a blog to help you get good. Speaking of getting good, read a lot and take action a lot. It's the only way short of paying for training. Most of which are shifty because there's a lot of money to be made people how to make money online--just look at johnchow.

Repeating what I said in the other thread here:
>I have a Minecraft channel with around half a million to a million views, I did set an affiliate g2a link on my channel description, header, and video description. Not a single fucking sale after 3 months. It seems like a waste of time, I make around 200 bucks a month. I did no SEO at all, just set keywords and shit.
>I have no fucking idea how people make "$150" a day without moving insane amounts of traffic or finding somehow a super high paying niche. I feel like everything has already been done.
So if 1 million views gets me 0 affiliate link conversions what the fuck im supposed to do?
Connor Harris
Im visiting that website and all im getting is a headache.
when i click "visit webage" uBlock blocks it as a treat
Ryan Clark
Google minecraft websites. See what other people are selling. Now you have an idea of what experts in your field are selling. Clone them and sell that.
I don't know much about minecraft. How about you make a service to set up custom servers for people? They pay you, you give them their own server. That would earn you a nice recurring income.
You need to understand visitor intent. People come to your channel to do what, watch Minecraft?
They aren't there to spend money.
If someone google's "best computer for minecraft" or "best graphics card for minecraft" they might be willing to spend money. They're looking for a product and want to be sold.
Nobody goes to a YouTube channel with free videos with the intent of buying something. You need understand the basics of marketing and human behavior/psychology to make sales
Jaxson Brown
Im not a nerd and I have no idea how to setup servers. I thought about promoting servers maybe.
The thing is, affiliate program wise, not a single fucking buy from my g2a link with 1 million views per month. Maybe it just doesn't work when your viewers are kids?
Lucas Robinson
Okay so what can I do with all the massive traffic I have... just limit myself to making videos and getting ad revenue?
What I hate is, I take too much time to create a video, meanwhile other people make total unedited garbage and end up with more views. But i've set the editing bar too high, if I lower it now I may start lossing subs/views.
Zachary Davis
you can talk about products that you want to sell in your videos or you can use a product in the video and say, hey if you want that product check this link, at the end of the video.
you can put music in your videos and link to it's location in the itunes store.
Jayden Jackson
The thing is I have reached 260K subscribers and I have never shown my face or even my voice. I just hate the idea of doing that. I enjoy being anoymous.

And how would you be making money with that?

Everything here is going over your head. >Im not a nerd and I have no idea how to setup servers You don't need to. Someone else does that. They give you a commission for sending them a customer to buy a server. Think of it as middleman. But you're an affiliate-- a salesman for that guy who owns the servers he rents.
Start making videos with buyer intent in them. most gaming vlogs have some sort of custom product for sale at the end of the video.
>What I hate is, I take too much time to create a video, meanwhile other people make total unedited garbage and end up with more views is there a name for this fallacy? get your head out of your ass. your content is not as good as you think it is, or else the traffic would do better. chances are they just have a better marketing plan.

My content is great, creative, and shows I have talent, it's not my fault the market has a low cpm for it.
A famous (millions of subscribers) guy making an 8 minute unedited gameplay is trash compared to my stuff where I put hard work.
>You don't need to. Someone else does that. They give you a commission for sending them a customer to buy a server. Think of it as middleman. But you're an affiliate-- a salesman for that guy who owns the servers he rents.
Where do I got those affiliates that would do good in a minecraft based channel?
Christian Harris

No he's a fucking idiot. I know him. There are tons of people like him with 3k subscriber channels. He is the average minecraft gameplay youtuber, which got there thanks to other guy that started back in 2012.
I just don't know what the fuck to do. Im stuck with my channel, that's all I have ever achieved. Nothing else has given me a penny, but I don't see how I can scale this to make me at least 1000$ a month.
I need some other model. Nobody is going to fucking click on my shit, kids just come to see the fcking videos and leave, they don't even follow me on twitter and like on facebook, they just subscribe.
Connor Bailey
btw, are you sure affiliate links are accepted in youtube? I don't want to get my ass banned.
Luke Powell
thats a lot of hate there pal. refocus it on learning to do better. nobody gives you the key to success, especially on Veeky Forums. youll have to try a lot of things out and see what works. read their tos and find out. i'm not doing that. you still seem clueless. you've been pushing g2a affiliate for months and are asking me this?
Owen Evans
I mean fuck. Everytime I look at this, I end up doing nothing. I search for information, and all those guys in youtube showing me how they make 4 to 6 figures a month selling crap on Amazon, and it's always the same generic shit + a guy selling you their "program".
How the fuck are you supposed to get any traffic and conversions when theres so much people doing this shit. How do you start from scratch step by step?
In my case, for my channel, I had an idea and it worked... a video went viral, now I rank very well that keyword, which btw its pretty competitive, and I never did any SEO or nerd shit, but still pays like shit for the amount of traffic I move so its pretty frustrating.
Now when it comes to selling crap, I have no idea
Isaac Jenkins
>you've been pushing g2a affiliate for months and are asking me this? Well I saw so many channels doing it and went for it. I have removed it because its useless anyway.
Ryder Jackson
>Everytime I look at this, I end up doing nothing This right there is your problem. How can you expect to get something out of nothing?
>In my case, for my channel, I had an idea and it worked... a video went viral, now I rank very well that keyword, which btw its pretty competitive, and I never did any SEO or nerd shit, but still pays like shit for the amount of traffic I move so its pretty frustrating. Apply your knowledge of how to rank a video to something more profitable. There's a whole scene of people who make videos for popular products on affiliate networks and rank them. There's even people who make a slideshow of amazon items for youtube and make more money than you. Think about that.
Camden Morales
with the amount of traffic you say you get you should be able to monetize it if you think like a salesman/business man.
Wyatt Baker
But how do I sell shit to kids? I move tons of traffic but its very low paying,
Landon Hernandez
Wrong. I know multiple people making millions of dollars every year by promoting affiliate offers. Here, let me save you a lot of time: People that legitimately make a lot of money are buying traffic from various ad networks, sending them to landing pages that they themselves create/host, which then link to the CPA offer you are trying to promote. That's it. There is no "magic bullet" or secret method anyone is selling that can make you a better media buyer. In fact, courses that teach affiliate marketing are a niche within affiliate marketing itself, it's quite hilarious. It's referred to as "bizopp" or business opportunity. Other big niches include casino (gambling), binary (stock options), adult, nutra (health, skin, weight, etc), brain (limitless pills), the list goes on and on. From there you focus on one niche, spy on what other people are doing/running, and start testing campaigns yourself. The real smart people do this mathematically and can tell when they have spent enough money on a test to tell if the campaign is profitable/worth scaling. If its not, they make changes until they see better results, and repeat. The industry is not a scam, but relationships help just like with anything else (however it's easy to meet people/affiliate network reps if you are good at networking on Skype) and a few people dominate while most others fail. Also more money is needed than people usually think (around 5k) to start up and buy all the necessary tools. BUT the good thing is that the industry is still accessible without having Daddy's connections so real hustlers can still make it.

Sometimes Veeky Forums actually knows what the fuck it's talking about!
How much traffic do, well let's say the Brain niche for example, how many sales per thousand do you generally get if you're half decent with your media buying? I'm just trying to get a sense of how much scale/traffic you need to make a living out of this.
>Also more money is needed than people usually think (around 5k) to start up and buy all the necessary tools Hmmm interesting. I'm going to ask the question before any one else does, because you know how expenditure averse Veeky Forums is: can you make money by spending less than 5k. What's the bare minimum to turn a profit (I'm going to assume that unless you're willing to spend at least 5k, it's too much of an uphill battle to be worthwhile)
Lucas Lewis
How do you feel about StackThatMoney and their 6wk affil course?
There's a rip online for free and I never pay for any courses about this stuff because most are crap. But I've heard good stuff about STM and it's geared solely towards PPC/media buying

I think that's illegal and will get your youtube account banned.
Wyatt Clark
Wouldn't buying traffic get your ass banned? youtube wise at least, if you buy traffic you risk a big ass, not worth it specially when you have worked hard on your channel.
So people create those lame ass landing webpages where they ask you to put their email there and that's all, but I don't see any products listed so how do people buy shit? I dont see anything not even affiliate links on those pages.. they just ask for email.. whats the point?
Do I create a webpage with wordpress with all the products and in the "buy" button I redirect to the affiliate links? what about the "enter your email" page (this is called landing page??")
This is so fucking confusing.
Also isn't the point of using Amazon to bypass all this shit and do it all inside Amazon?
Angel Reyes
I mean, this is confusing to me because I have never visited those pages because ever since I was a kid using the internet, they were like AIDS to me, like scams. All those "enter your email there" crap. I just can't get inside the mind of a person that buys shit throught those. I don't understand the concept.

Your ROI depends on how good your campaign is, and mostly whether you want to cloak or not (cloaking lets you run more aggressive landers that say things you are not supposed to). Some affiliates run small ROI campaigns like 25-50% and still knock it out of the park because they can scale bigly. Some affiliates can run 500% ROI campaigns but they might die faster/get you banned. You asked in terms of per thousand dollars spend, but that's not really a good metric to use. Consider a brain offer that you decide to run on a native traffic source gets you a $3 EPC (earnings per click), meaning on AVERAGE every click on your ad will make you $3 in revenue. so as long as you are bidding below that, say around $1 per click, that person will make a 66% ROI. As for the money thing, sure you could always try with less but the more shit you skimp out on (cheap server, smaller traffic budget) just makes it harder to play the game principally. if you pick a high ticket offer like brain for example that pays out $90 straight sale, and you just say fuck it and run $500 or more in traffic to it without knowing what you are doing you are really just gambling.
STM is a great starting place and a good "lounge" for the industry so to speak. Good place to network. The days of "hot" tips for campaigns and gibsmedat advice are over, but the basic starting guides there are enough to lead you into the right direction to what is working now. STM is a really big business now, and I would stay away from any "course" because its just a cash grab. even if it is legit the mods there are big on pushing newbies to run mobile/low payout offers which is fine but it's for sure not the only way to make money anymore (also it has many more variables to track).
Matthew Murphy
>youtube wise at least, if you buy traffic you risk a big ass, not worth it specially when you have worked hard on your channel
You are just kind of mixing up what people are actually doing here. If you could successfully buy traffic to your youtube page for less than Youtube pays you (you can't), that would be an example of advertising arbitrage fraud. Which is cool, and makes people a lot of money, but it's a completely different game than media buying/affiliate marketing. I am talking about buying traffic to your OWN site which no one is paying you for. the site is monetized by you heavily promoting a product on it. Think advertising, persuasion, marketing, emotions, greed.
Clickbank is fine, believe it or not people still make big money direct linking ( no Landing page) clickbank offers on some paid traffic sources. obviously it's not as simple as it seems, as is this whole industry (because you still have to track placements and block bad ones).
You LP should not be made in wordpress because it's too slow and people that click your shit don't want to wait for anything to load. most are just custom made HTML based sites. most affiliates don't make them either, they just copy/download other people's landing pages that they are running
Christian Morris
I dont get it
You either getting natural traffic or illegal traffic
I still dont understand why bother with my own page when you have the amazon shit where its all hosted there
I still dont get whats the point of the "enter email here" shit (is this called landing page?)
I still dont get how you make money when your stuff is going to be at the back of the queue
Jordan Evans
>You either getting natural traffic or illegal traffic Buying traffic is not illegal traffic. You're probably stuck in thinking that because you probably think youtube is the only place you can buy traffic to. Take a look at Google.com/adwords. It's how Google makes 99% of their money. Selling traffic. Their page will hopefully explain everything.
>I still dont understand why bother with my own page when you have the amazon shit where its all hosted there One reason is to put the lead into your list. If you send that lead directly to Amzn, amzn owns them. Send them to your page and you own them.
>I still dont get whats the point of the "enter email here" shit (is this called landing page?) Usually to build your email list. So you can market to them indefinitely. Put your email in one, it's self explanatory. It is -one- type of landing page. There are many types.
>I still dont get how you make money when your stuff is going to be at the back of the queue I don't understand what back of the queue means but you need to read this whole thread again.
Carter Kelly
Dude you are so far gone just give up. You're confused as to why your fucking Minecraft video game channel can't earn money thru affiliate marketing?
Because you have nothing to market. You literally will not monetize a video of you playing video games. It will not happen. You picked a niche that's more about pleasure than money.
Play games for fun but don't expect to earn money online in the gaming niche.
And this statement:
> You either getting natural traffic or illegal traffic
Is fuckin embarassing my dude.
You pay for ads on AdWords or Facebook native ads. These are links to your website. People see the link in Facebook, click it, and you just paid for that click.
It's completely legal. It's called PPC, Pay Per Click, which is the basis of PPC affiliate marketing.
Honestly at this point I'm not sure if you're just trolling or just truly inept at Internet marketing. Best of luck in your future but if you hope to get anywhere you need lurk and read
Jeremiah Rodriguez
And BTW I understand many people do earn money with YouTube channels about gaming. But that niche is so saturated that you have almost no chance of standing out.
Plus those people have a huge advantage because they already have an audience. Patreon, AdSense, and affiliate offers add up when you're an authority in a space(like gaming)
Just go to Google and look up affiliate marketing spend a couple hours reading. Bottom line you are pushing a dinosaur up a mountain trying to sell crap on a free Minecraft YouTube channel
Dylan Davis
there are a few things you can do
>sell a valuable product like an ebook or 3d models (which takes years to get good at in the first place) >apply to be a facebook promoter, there are those type of jobs.
okay so about this, you need to have a successful facebook page which is not hard to make, just have pretty babes or really funny stupid memes. get to a respectable amount of likes/followers and then you can use that page as a platform to promote other people products or even monetize your videos/images.
>be an ebay shop all you have to do is go to some shitty flea market and pickup all the 1$ games and what have you and made a worthwhile collection, then resell it online to geeks. add perks, free shipping and be reliable. i know a guy that bought bunch of crap from china like shirts and sticklights and he was intent to sell it online but just didn't have the mind for this kind of job.
>join to a promotion site send people links, spam people, get points, get a few cents and maybe a few dollar. its pretty slow if you don't have a program to automate the process for you, but from what i heard some people are making good money off it.
>mine bitcoins,sell credit cards,launder money
well this is a bit complex to get into and you need alot of reading and balls. just google it if you want

Now that's an interesting bit of advice I haven't heard before

>What kind of products are best suited to being shilled on Facebook?
mostly services. id imagine clothes and shoes are going hard on fb. facebook advertising is more powerful than whatever google has to offer, and people haven't fully utilized it

>facebook advertising is more powerful than whatever google has to offer, and people haven't fully utilized it Interesting. I've always been weary of Facebook, it's so hard to get native engagement I just assumed that paying for it would be just as useless.

sorry I deleted the original since I forgot an image.
Here it is:
>1. pay for a spytool >2. find campaigns that have been running for a long time - if it's running for a long time, it must be making money, right? >3. copy the campaign: creatives, landers, offers, everyting. >4. run the exact same campaign on the exact same traffic source - if someone is running the same campaign on teh same traffic source and making money, you will too. >5. once you start making a positive ROI you can think of innovating the campaign, split-testing, trying different traffic sources, etc.
I literally just told everyone here how to make at LEAST $200/day
BONUS MODE: copy blackhat campaigns - I just told you how to make $1,000+/day
good luck.

What spytool do you recomend?
Can this be done in the US or is this just for more "legally safe" countries?

It makes sense to me though. I mean you think about it they have finite ad budgets, so they're not going to get 100% of the relevant traffic, but if the campaign works then you can have the same success rate as them. You may never even be cutting their lunch.
