The term is AN HERO you cancerous reddit newfag fuck.

regarding not having headlights, i found out my friend who used to have a miata has the entire oem pop up headlight assembly and told me he'd just give it to me even tho i offered him money.

Now Im thinking how much of a bitch it. would be to get them back in and wired up to the car.

>tfw adding weight instead of doing the opposite

>if you’re under 6'2" and aren’t overweight you can fit without modification
What if I'm 6'2" and obese?

One engine has a lot of accessories on it. Sure, it's bigger but still kind of unfair to compare
Get a lithium-ion battery to compensate for the headlights.

Going to do a "reroute" on my 2002, but I'm not really sure what way to go. I'm considering removing the heater core in order to lower the weight and complexity of the car. I will get the older 1.8 head gasket, but the question is if I should to for the M-tuned, Begi or DIY. What I would want to do it just get the Begi spacer and two Kia water necks, on for the inlet and one for the outlet in order to remove the heatercore plumbing. But my car also have some smaller hoses in the front that goes from the inlet, to the stock outlet and to the manifold that I don't know what they do, would be nice to get rid of them in order to get a cleaner engine bay.

what do you mean?

kosei K1's

Is your goal to out shitpost brosifine? Fuck off

If you get a battery that weights 2lbs it will compensate for the weight gain of the headlights.

Ok I understand, but do you have a solution to the whole headlight assembly installation?

The previous owner was telling me how it was "impossible" to get the headlights back in but I highly doubt that, it might be a bitch seeing as I probably have to get a new hood and everything but impossible? nah.

1uz is a piece of shit get over it weeb

No idea. Why not just let bygones be bygones and keep it without the lights?

Evidently you don't know what fuck off means.

Hurr durr leave this website!

I dont think you understand how shitty my visibility is in the evening. Come Spring/Summer I'd like to daily it

Unf

Nice what color is that

Diarrhea green

Gonna need some more info on this car. Or pics.

Does an exhaust exist for a naturally aspirated 1.6 exist that doesn't sound like shit? IMO, pretty much all 4 cylinders with aftermarket exhausts sound shitty unless they're turbo'd, have ITBs, etc.

Look up Art Center Miata

Thanks

What don't you like about 4 cylinder exhaust sounds, specifically? I've only got experience with FM's system for the 1.8, but it sounds pretty good, if a little low-key.

Yonaka's sound nice in videos, though.

Montego Blue

If that's the color of your shit you need to get that checked out

>fastback

Brhe

How was painting that color?
I had somebody request to paint a hard top and I declined because I didn't believe I'd be able to get it a close enough match
forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=265152

Just that fart can sound that 4 cylinders have. The Cobalt and Racing Beat Power Pulse exhaust aren't bad. I might pick up a power pulse at some point, but I'd really like to see what's out there before I pull the trigger.

This car was recently for sale ~6 months ago, it was pristine. Probably one of the nicest NAs I've seen, and it was priced at $8000. It looks like the new owner did some shitty mods and wrapped it around a pole ;_;

I don't know how to feel...

>those wheels
>those tail lights
>pristine

mate it looks like it was garbage before it hit that tree

It had OEM taillights and stock daisies back in May when it was up for sale.

Current owner fucked it up good ;_;

I had someone paint mine, that's a pic he sent me. I'll post pics of the top on the car soon. I'm not sure how close it matches yet.

>tfw fastback costs as much as the car

Check out the ISR or the ISIS. It has a pretty fart cannony look but it's a full midpipe back exhaust for like 330 bucks. My coworker has one on his NB1 and it sounds pretty damn good honestly. I think I'm going to get one for my NB1 too.

alright guys, i went for a nice run yesterday and now a day later I can see all the salt that got kicked up onto the car. how do i get this shit off? i sprayed it with some water and it looked like it came off but it actually didn't. i dont want this piece of shit rusting any further

Ayyy, that's my friends V8 Miata. Too bad he sold it some months ago to a guy in Florida.

Damn nig, those wheels are rad!

jesus christ furfaggots are retarded

merry xmas

let me tell you about you. your memeing and shitposting has ruined your posting, and possibly your real life. you think you make someone laugh, or perhaps you get a pathetic chuckle out of yourself when you post such useless dross. perhaps the Miata truly is your favorite car, and you possibly do think it is a "gangster" looking car, which further proves my point of how beyond saving your are. but then there is also the possibility that again, you don't know what to do anymore. you found a thread about "gangster" looking cars, and the first thing that came to your mind? the Miata. either way, you should seek help because you aren't progressing in life and it shows. fuck the tailpipe of a Miata if you must, before you surrender yourself to a psychiatric ward. do your best at improving your life

>just bought some tranny fluid for the NC
>ford motorcraft honey is $18/ quart

lole

lol! xD dogfucker meme haha

Its worth it though imo

Use some warm water and soap. Wash gently

It's goddamn magick juice. Use it in my NB, and will put it in my new (to me) NC when I change the fluid.

My friend put that motorcraft shit in his 6sp NB and it helped a lot it was super notchy before and after it was a lot smoother

Yeah that shit fixed my 2nd gear grind in my NB 5 speed

ahahaha lole im am fuck doge!!!

i poured dish soap all over it and stuck it outside in the rain

>first time driving in a strong wind
>the car was taking turns on its own lmao

>Tfw 2.2 quart trans capacity

I hope it cures a crunchy 1-2 shift I'm experiencing

Here's the finished product next to the original paint. Looks really good imo

I bet it will. It fixed mine

And here is the full paint code

there was a webm floating around with a black miata getting chased on a windy road, anyone have it?

Merry Christmas

Just ordered a short shifter, catch can, magnetic drain plugs, oil pressure sender, delrin door window guides, racing brake fluid and some 0W-40. And still there are a lot more fun to come :D

That tire/wheel combo looks so goofy.

merry chrismith

Hey nice, been meaning to get a catch can one of these days. Which one did you get/ how much?

I got the Mishimoto 2-port baffled compact can. Got it for $116 from Miataroadster. Went with it because it's baffled, has a filter and looks good.

Pretty bouncy and sketchy looking

Is your mx5 turbo'd?
What does catch can do on Na engine if not?
Genuinely curious

There seems to be a lot of contradicting facts about the cans. Turbos have a lot more pressure and that results in more blowby. On a NA it seems like one can is enough, and that should be between the output on the intake side of the valvecover and the intake manifold. Turbo cars seems to need 2 cans, one for each port on the valve cover. I did not find any gunk on the throttle body on my car, but there was some behind in the intake manifold, so one can seems to be enough.
